Central, lovely apartment with a unique view

Superb location in Bergen overlooking the harbour. The apartment is furnished beautifully and has everything that a hotel room doesn't have. Plenty of room to move in the apartment and the view from the lounge-room is beautiful. We had one wet morning which was so nice relaxing looking out at the harbour.

Three flights of stairs to the apartment, which are worth it in our opinion. Not great for older people with a large suitcase.

As others have mentioned, the best things about this property are the fantastic views (directly across the harbour to Bryggen), and location. The apartment had a very spacious living area, and the kitchen was very well appointed, with plenty of crockery etc. The beds were very comfortable - there wasn’t a lot of room for storage in the second bedroom but because the living areas were so spacious we could leave our suitcases there. Norway can be very expensive, so the well set-up kitchen meant we had the option to buy supplies from the grocery shops and prepare our own simple meals if we wanted to. The information, directions, and communication with the host were all excellent. We would highly recommend this apartment - as two couples in our early sixties and found it perfect for our needs, and this apartment had the best views we have ever had in a holiday let.

There was nothing to dislike. Others have mentioned the stairs, as the apartment is on the third floor, as per the property listing. We didn’t find this a problem but if you have mobility issues this property may not be the one for you, as there is no lift. A second set of keys would have been helpful given that we were two couples and sometimes split up for sightseeing, but this is a recommendation not a dislike.

Duży salon z aneksem kuchennym i dwie sypialnie.

Location, views, room to relax

Second bed in bedroom was not made, dishes in cupboard had large food remains on them, place was not very well cleaned (huge streaks on bathroom mirror), shower was never hot and no toilet paper holder in bathroom. For price of $310 US expected more.
