Modern Suite, Excellent Location in the heart of Bergen

Fabulous location only a short walk away from harbor and Bryggen site. St. Mary’s Kirkje right across the street, with a lovely view! Easy walk to everything including Fløibanen, bakeries, grocery stores, etc. The beautiful old neighborhood just north of the apartment is absolutely charming. Very clean, comfortable and well-furnished modern apartment. Everything IKEA, so if you ever wanted to know what it’s like to live in an IKEA home, you will find out! Cozy! Nice shower temperature and pressure. More than enough linens and towels, all supplies plentiful. Super-friendly hosts communicated everything so well. Since access to the apartment key was a little tricky (kind of a treasure hunt to find the right key box, though photos were provided), Fredrik was very kind in promptly phoning me to help after I messaged him about my difficulty. It was my fault for not carefully checking the photos they sent. After that, no issues at all. Fredrik and Andrea were very helpful in suggesting an appropriate garage for our rental car, about 15 minutes’ walk from the apartment, as well as their favorite bakeries, which I had asked about. There is a laundry room in the basement which could be very helpful for anyone staying more than a few days.

Would have liked a guide to the stove and oven buttons, not easy to figure out on my own, therefore some leftover pizza went to waste since I was uncomfortable not knowing how to use the oven. It was too late in the evening to call our hosts. I would suggest a one-page laminated sign in the kitchen, so that one doesn’t have to ask. Not really a criticism, though!

Great location. This studio was just what we wanted, enough space for a couple with all the facilities we needed.

A minor quibble; we found the bathroom lights tricky to operate, just keep it simple 😁

Comfortable studio apartment with full kitchen, and a lovely view of St Mary's Church. Close to Bryggen Historic area, and easy access to Skyss bus stop. Convenient coop groceries nearby.

Personal preferences, the bed was firmer than expected and adjacent to wall, which was rough on elbows. Step up into bathroom. And we could not get the laundry pay system to connect to a washing machine in the apartment building. Wasted 10usd setting up account.
