Bryggen Suites l 1min to Bryggen & Floyen

La posizione fantastica, a cinque minuti a piedi dal Porto e dalla funicolare. L'appartamento è molto carino e ben arredato. Silenzioso anche se in strada c'è parecchio movimento. Letto comodissimo, dalla finestra della camera da letto di vedono le case sulla collina, bellissimo. Cucina ben attrezzata, c'è il bollitore, la macchina per il caffè filtrato e un tostapane. Il forno è sia tradizionale che a microonde. Lavastoviglie piccola ma comodissima.

Un po' piccolo per starci in 4 e non ci sono tavolo e sedie, ci si deve adattare a mangiare seduti sul divano, il tavolinetto davanti al divano è comunque basso e non troppo comodo per mangiare. Sarebbe pratica qualche mensola. La scala per salire sul soppalco dove c'è il letto matrimoniale è ripida e bisogna stare attenti soprattutto a scendere. Il vicoletto per accedere all'appartamento è un po' buio e sporco, usato dal supermercato accanto per smaltire rifiuti ma anche da qualche turista come toilette all'aperto...

The situation is perfect. Ypu couldn’t be closer to all the great stuff and the owner was very helpful and reacts very quicky to messages and was super flexible about os getting access earlier than the agreed time.

I was a little surprised aboit the ekstra cost for insurance, that is not something that I have been asked for before.

The property is super close to the Funicular and the harbor, so it is easy to enjoy all activities in the city center including the fijord tours. The kitchen is well-equipped with a refrigerator, an oven, a dishwasher a coffee maker and a teapot and basic kitchen ingredients like oil and salt, so we were able to cook a few meals in this property easily. There is plenty of toilet paper, which we really appreciate.

The property is located on the third floor, so it takes some effort to move the baggage up and down. The wall is very thin so we could hear next door ‘s conversation very clearly. The bathroom could use more hooks for towels or a shelf for placing clothes.

1. Brilliant location, close to everything 2. Room and bathrooms were clean 3. After being stranded with no hot water in the biggest apartment for 2 full days and all 16 of us somehow managing, they wanted to still charge us more for ONE hour extra we needed for check out. When asked to give that one hour free, they agreed! I guess that was their "generosity"

1. Very difficult check in : instructions given at the last minute. They wanted us to fill forms and give them a lot security deposit etc. They should have made many efforts to connect with us BEFORE the arrival if this was going to be so complex. We were 16 people and we stood on the road for an hour trying to figure things out. Of course no human actually came for help. 2. There was piles of trash at the entrance after entering the black main gate that you see in the pictures. Some construction material but also tons of trash, so much so that we wondered if we were at the right place. 3. We booked their biggest 3 bedroom apt, along with other 1 BR apartments. The 3 BR apt did not have hot water, we had to share bathrooms in other apartments because it was freezing cold. We kept asking for help for 2 days straight and they said they would look into it. Of course NO ONE came to help! Third day, when we messaged again, someone told us to switch something off and back on again. We did and there was hot water in minutes. Of course we were even more annoyed and the response was "Oh I don't know why no one asked you to do this earlier"! ZERO APOLOGY! ZERO EFFORT TO MAKE UP FOR THE INCONVENIENCE! This was by far the most RIDICULOUS experience!
