Fløyen Lux Apartment

The location is excellent. It is right at Bergen city center and foot of Floyen. The apartment is very clean. The host is very responsive. It has no parking but plenty of parking garages nearby. We just unloaded our luggages in the street outside the apartment (don’t leave car unattended) and then parked in a nearby garage.

We wish the window in the living room above the bed have curtain too so that we could have a better sleep there.

We had a very pleasant stay at this apartment in Bergen. The location was excellent, offering easy access to the city's main attractions, restaurants, and waterfront while remaining surprisingly quiet and peaceful, especially during the evenings. The apartment itself was spacious and comfortable, providing plenty of room for our family of four. We also appreciated the large bathroom, which made our stay much more convenient. Overall, it was a comfortable and well-located base for exploring Bergen.

Cleanliness was a notable concern during our stay. We found hair on what appeared to be freshly cleaned bed sheets, which raised questions about the thoroughness of the cleaning process. Although the issue was relatively minor, cleanliness is an important aspect of any accommodation experience, and this detracted from an otherwise pleasant stay. Greater attention to housekeeping standards would help improve the overall guest experience.

Great location in the old town near the harbor. Large living area with kitchen, living room and dining area. Quiet building. Reliable wifi. In unit Euro washer and provided drying rack. Clean unit. Good communication from host prior to arrival. Only one bathroom but it had plenty of space and good water pressure in shower. Comfortable beds - some of the best sleep I had in Norway.

Not necessarily a con but be aware it is on the second floor, with small stairs at the top and one of the hand rails is not secure. It was fine with me hauling bags, but my parents would have had trouble by themselves. Could have used some paper towels in the kitchen, or more dish rags. Smaller bedroom did not have a place for luggage.

The owner was flexible with letting us put our suitcases in the apartment before check-in time, which we appreciated. The location was excellent, the apartment was very large and could have been lovely, but it had some issues.

The kitchen was large and beautiful but the cabinets were all stuck and hard to open. I think it's IKEA cabinets in an old building where the lines aren't straight anymore. But the bigger issue was that the beds were terrible. The mattresses sagged, and we struggled to sleep well. If the owners upgrade the beds and adjust the cabinets, it will be very nice.
