Very good value centrally located accommodation

The room was spacious and well furnished. Lovely touch with the prosecco, milk and water in the fridge as well as providing amenities such as crockery, glasses, microwave, tea and coffee etc. The bathroom was a good size too with nice shower. Bath a little slippery and a slip mat would be useful

Bed was a little low and on arrival the lights did not come on in the outside lobby to the room so it was a bit fiddly trying to enter key code access but otherwise we would definitely book again

Lovely room in a fantastic location, perfect for a weekend break!

Excellent location within easy walking distance of everything in the city centre. Friendly welcome on arrival, really lovely room and even a bottle of Prosecco chilled in the fridge awaiting us! Very happy all round. Also even got a free boat trip from Sabrina's, as this room is run by them. Absolutely beautiful trip along the river. Thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay here :)

Wonderful quaint apartment in the heart of beautiful Shrewsbury

The Stowe apartment is a wonderful place to stay if visiting the beautiful historic city of Shrewsbury. My wife and I are nearing the end of our 10 week trip around Europe and the UK. We have stayed in a wide variety of different apartments during this trip. The Stowe stands out as one of the most unique and delightful properties. We received excellent service from the helpful young ladies, Sophie and India, who made our stay even more memorable. They enabled us to move into the apartment earlier than the standard check in time, which fitted in with our train journey from London, and was most appreciated. In addition they arranged for us to have a complimentary 45 minute boat cruise on the River Seven. As well they arranged for a free bottle of sparkling wine in the fridge for us, plus a bottle of milk. These extra touches added to our enjoyment of the 2 night stay. The Stowe apartment is very well located, being a short walk from and to the railway station. Plus it is very handy to the historic and picturesque old town, shops, pubs restaurants, etc that make Shrewsbury such a lovely place to visit.

The stairs to access the apartment are quite steep, so it pays to take care using them.

Very noisy outside in the evening at bed time and later on no breakfast was included

Maybe some nice netting on the four poster like you see on most four posters also the bed was extremely low to the floor almost like we were sleeping on a mattress only

Excellent location in the centre of Shrewsbury. Clean and comfortable room - great bath/shower. Plenty of fresh milk, tea/coffee provided. Friendly staff who allowed us to leave our case in their office between vacating the room and catching our train.

Fairly steep stairs with narrow treads to access the first floor. Low bed! - but neither of these would put us off staying again.

Fantastic highly recommend

Location was great, perfectly in the middle of town, short walk over the foot bridge to the long stay carpark. Amazing facilities, the bathroom is really amazing, lovely that you have some utensils for eating with and plenty of glass options for drinking too. We really enjoyed our stay, found the bed beautiful, low which may not suit some but very, very comfortable.

We didn't have towels when we arrived, but found some in a cupboard outside the room (as it was out of usual hours, we didn't want to disturb the owners with a call at 11pm.

Fabulous apartment in the centre of town. Clear instructions about how to access the apartment. We had a bottle of fizz waiting for us on our arrival.

There were steep steps to access the apartment which didn't bother us, but if you have mobility problems you might struggle.

A lovely weekend!

It was a perfect little getaway. The room was lovely and everything we needed and it was in a great location too!

The tap water was a bit murky and gave off a strong smell of drainage/sewage, but this may be a problem with the drains at the time and not the accommodation’s fault. Also, the lights were a bit temperamental; working sometimes and sometimes not working, however this is just a minor issue compared to how many excellent the room was!!

Enjoyable stay.

A cozy room and very clean. Right in the centre of town. The bed is huge and comfortable. There’s a microwave and fridge if you need them and tea/ coffee making facilities. Nice shower. There was even a complimentary bottle of bubbly on ice at arrival.

It wasn’t a problem for me but the entrance is up a narrow flight of stairs which might be a problem if you have mobility issues.
