We spent a long family weekend here and had a great time.

We spent a long family weekend here and had a great time. The apartment is clean, well-designed, and ideally located. Restaurants and shops are right at the foot of the building, and it's just a few meters from the beach and cliffs. It also includes a convenient parking space. The owners are professional and reliable.

We only missed having an iron, and on the last day we ran out of toilet paper. It wasn’t a big issue for us to sort out, but with more people staying, an extra roll or two would definitely be helpful.

We had made an appointment for 18: 00 hr on Friday. We arrived a little early. We called the contactperson. She said she was busy and would arrive soon. She arrived at 19: 00 hrs. We had to wait an hour (!) before she arrived and gave us the keys. We told her the expected time we woud leave on Sunday, She did'nt show up then either. When we telephoned her she told us to leave the keys on the table. So we did.

Great location

It has a great location, very close to the beach - Walkable distance. The house was clean as well. We stayed in the first floor, so it was not too many steps to climb. Parking was just behind the house.

The kitchen had utensils and stuff but it would have been a nice gesture if there were at least some coffee and sugar sachets for the early risers.

Romantic cosy charm stay! Sea-view from balcony!

This appartement is two steps away from the seaside. It's very close to restaurants, city-supermarket, butchery and ice-shops. Kitchen is functional and well equipped. One double-room with space for suitcases. Low-ceiling attic-room, suited for the kids with single beds. Two-seater sofa. Etretat is one of the most picturesque places in France. The view on the coastline is sublime. The town itself is super cosy, and even in high-season has a sleepy calmness, except for the always excited seagulls.

Check-in didn't go smooth. Ceiling of the upper room is super low. There's chimney's of restaurants around so it can smell of grill and so on. And the seagulls on the roofs are loud! We didn't mind all this, but if you are four adults of 2m high and you like absolute silence and expect the smell of country-side, this might not be your pick.

Location is perfect, 2 minutes walking to the beach. Private Parking space. Apartment has been remodeled and all areas are clean and modern. Nicely decorated with some children’s books.

Comfortable and cosy appartement for a family of four. Clean and tidy. Well equipped kitchen for home cooking. Very good location. Attentive host.

The parking behind the appartement is a bit tight, but free, which is nice.

Location! Parking!

Location. PARKING (take a small car!) on site. Well-equipped. Spacious. Well-situated to touristic places, supermarket, and restaurants. Etreta is a small city with a very limited public parking space. For this reason, having a parking spot just behind the flat was VERY convenient!! Take a small car for two reasons: entrance to the parking AND space for two cars. This property has two flats and the parking is for two flats. Parking is small, but such a BIG SUPER factor. Read carefully the comments before leaving and we got a small car for this parking. Glad to follow the comments on the parking.

Bad

The location.

The location being its best selling point. However, it was lackluster in some other areas : mainly the hot water being not continuous ( there wasn't enough hot water in the heating ballon for three people to take a shower. There was above all a general lack of hospitality. We didn't have a hair dryer, a toaster nor trash bags, shower gel or shampoo. While the latter are surely not expensive, I think providing such items would really a positive aspect and definitely improve this feeling of not being welcoming enough for the customer, with minimal effort. Especially if the accomodation is as expensive as this one. Finally, saying that the appartment is suitable for 4 adults is ridiculous. The sofa bed was impractible, with the table in front being difficult to move. The two beds upstairs were incredibly small even for short people ( 160 cm ).

Very kind and timely welcome by the host, great location with an available parking place for a mid-sized car at the backyard. Very nice small town with an astonishing seashore.

Ancient historical building with tight and narrow stairs leading to the first floor, may be difficult to use by those, who are impaired in their moves.

Apartament jest zlokalizowany blisko plaży w otoczeniu sklepów i restauracji w małej kamienicy. Jest spokojnie. Można poczuć klimat lokalnego życia w Etretat. Jest dobrze wyposażony we wszystkie potrzebne rzeczy, bardzo wygodne łóżka. Wi-fi dobrze działa. Dużym atutem jest miejsce parkingowe tuż za domem, co nie jest standardem w centrum miasteczka. Kontakt z gospodarzami jest wyjątkowy, dbają o gości przez cały pobyt i szybko reagują na pytania i prośby. Etretat jest pięknie położone i spokojniejsze od innych popularnych miejscowości w Normandii, na początku lipca było bardzo mało turystów. Plaża jest kamienista, warto wziąć buty do wody. Idealne miejsce do wędrówek malowniczymi klifami, kilometry pięknych szlaków.
