The accommodation
New apartment in the ground floor and basement with modern furnishings and great views in a very quiet Orstrandlage. A large garden with garden furniture and with a fantastic view is for the sole use available.
The apartment has an open cooking, living and dining area. The modern fitted kitchen has all the necessary kitchen utensils and equipment, in addition also has a coffee machine and high-end devices, such as an induction hob, microwave, oven, dishwasher, a large refrigerator and a freezer.
The apartment has 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms:
On the ground floor there is a bedroom with double bed (1,80 x 2,00) and one with two single beds. Furthermore, a bathroom with a large barrier-free shower, toilet, bidet and double sinks and a separate guest toilet.
In the basement there is another bedroom with double bed (1,80x2,00) and a bedroom with a 1.40 m wide bed (but this bedroom has only one window in front of a cellar shaft). The basement also a second bathroom takes a shower, bath, toilet and sink.
The entire apartment has underfloor heating and the downstairs rooms (with the exception of the guest WCs) electric shutters
Plenty of towels, sheets and towels are available to our guests. The fee for this is included in the cost of cleaning.
We ask our guests not to smoke in the apartment. For this purpose the terrace.
From the apartment can be reached in a few minutes drive to the railway connection to Munich

LOVED this house with a beautiful view of the Alps in a quiet location in a tiny Bavarian town! Great home base from which to sightsee. There's even a German-speaking bakery a few doors down with delicious cakes and pastries! There was plenty of room for my family of 9 to sleep comfortably, with a full bathroom on each floor, plus a half bath on the main level. Access to laundry was also appreciated. And the owner made sure we knew how to work everything properly with a tour upon arrival. I'd have stayed longer if we could! Highly recommend.

We rented this apartment for 56 days and we were not disappointed. Andreas and Dorothee were excellent hosts and most helpful as the world battled the Corona virus pandemic. The accommodation is exactly as described and easy to locate. Dorothee met us there when we arrived and gave a comprehensive instructional walk round of the property. Rooms are large and nicely decorated. Beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are large, with walk-in showers and a plentiful supply of towels. Everywhere was very clean. Many basic food items were supplied for our arrival. The apartment is spacious and has wonderful views of the Bavarian Alps some 30 miles south. There are parking spaces for 4 cars. Numerous supermarkets and other stores are within a short drive. Munich city center is only 45 minutes away, while the beautiful towns of Garmisch, Oberammergau and Mittenwald are easily reached. Unfortunately for all concerned, places slowly closed due to the virus and Bavaria eventually locked down. During this period of change and uncertainty, Dorothee and Andreas could not have been more helpful and understanding. Only 25 days into our stay, we abandoned our stay in Eglfing and, most reluctantly, boarded a flight home. Overall, should we ever find ourselves returning to Bavaria, we would not hesitate to book this accommodation again.

This is a very high tech beautiful home out in the country with fantastic views of the Alps. The home is extremely clean, and quiet in a small village setting. Café is just down the street. The hosts, Andreas and Dorothee, were very helpful in suggesting places to see and restaurants to visit. This is a place my family and I would definitely come back to stay at if we get a chance to return to the Munich area.

A beautiful home with great views of the Alps and surrounding pastures. Andreas and Dorothee were wonderful. We had 3 generations of family and there was plenty of room. The house had water issues from the torrential rains that hit this area the week before we arrived and they made special accommodations for us so it did not cause any inconveniences. And they were so gracious. Andreas even rescued us when our van wouldn't start. This house is very central if you want to see the southern Bavaria area - castles, Zugspitze, Salt Mines and so close to Munich. It is on our list when we come back to Germany. Thanks to Andreas and Dorothee for helping to make our stay so great.
