Seaside Retreat in North Bay - with parking

Great location, the rooms were big and cosy, beds were very comfortable. Great that we had summer duvets for the warmer weather. The house was very well equipped with everything we needed for our stay.

Not exactly a dislike but since there was lots of steps it made it difficult for my elderly Mum and also a bit dangerous for my little nephew especially since we couldn’t figure out how to fit the stair gates. Saying that though we were warned that the property had lots of stairs.

Good location for both bays and town centre. Spacious and well equipped. Dedicated parking space a bonus.

Outdoor space needs attention. Outdoors Needs to be cleaner and generally better maintained in order to be a pleasant and comfortable option. Better outdoor screening from adjacent residential properties would also be of benefit.

The location was fantastic, the house itself is beautiful, the staff have thought of everything! Kitchen is fully kitted out with everything you could need, along with all amenities being functional

The property is spread across 4 floors with the stairs being quite narrow at the top floor so not the most accessible for everyone. This is of course not a problem, just a struggle with luggage if you’re staying for a long time.

So much space! All the rooms were really big, had wardrobes / storage space. Clean, nicely decorated. Excellently stocked kitchen, large fridge freezer, utensils, oil, salt, pepper, vinegar ketchup, briwn sauce etc. Games, puzzles & books. Huge bathrooms - hand-wash at every sink &washing up liquid and cloths in kitchen. Plenty of toilet roll. Bath and hand towel on every bed/for each person. Good location in between the north & south beach - it is quite a walk to the beach though. We drove and parked nearer so didnt have to carry so much stuff. Would look into hiring a beach hut on the north beach if we came again.

Not really a complaint as we knew when we booked, but it is over 4 floors so get ready for lots of stairs - great way to keep fit! Again not a complaint as its lovely to hear the seagulls but they ain't half noisy - bring ear plugs - especially if you sleep on one of the top floor rooms! Parking - 1 space in a car park around the corner - 3 mins walk - we just pulled up outside to load and unload car - but be careful as did see people ticketed who actually left them outside! Passes left for another car to park in A2 zone - really handy - very busy from 5.30pm to 10.30am then spaces seem to be available during the day - was sometimes tricky when getting back later from a day out but managed ok. Again not a complaint just something to be aware of - same in any busy seaside resort!
