Super place and very friendly host

Super place, convenient to get from the airport, very clean and well equipped with private parking. Very close and walkable to the lovely town center, you can even catch a bus to Dubrovnik close to the place. Lovely private balcony with amazing views. We landed very late arriving in the middle of the night and the host was very nice and accommodating.

A bit of noise from the airplanes landing, but that was hardly noticeable with the windows closed

Nice stay

The property is absolutely freshly refurbished - all is new and functioning properly. Big comfortable bed. Spacious bathroom and the apartment itself. Equipped kitchen. Nice view from the terrace. Walking to the city center of Cavtat is just 10 minutes. The same for a bus station that leads you to Dubrovnik (buses to Dubrovnik go about every half an hour - you can check the timetable on the bus station on the post of the street light (also the owners gave me the timetable!). The ticket to one way to Dubrovnik is 25 kunas (buy it from a bus driver, bus nr 10). There are also trips by boats to Dubrovnik until the middle or maybe end of October, depending on weather, you can buy the tickets from the guys at stands near the church and restaurant Leut and to enjoy the view on the shores while going by boat. In all - amazing stay and amazing nice town, worth visiting! The grocery shop Pemo is just in the next house from the property - works every day 7-22. And bus nr 10 also has a stop near the property (2-3 min walk). The house where the apartment is located is a bit further from the road so there is no street noise!

I would love to have the normal duvet put inside the duvet cover instead of just sheets and a separate blanket that you put on top of it, but it’s probably the custom of some southern European countries to have it like that.

Mooi appartement met een fijn balkon

Het is een ruim en schoon appartement voorzien van een keuken met alle benodigdheden. Het appartement heeft een fijn balkon met een prachtig uitzicht over de baai van Dubrovnik. Bij goed zicht kun je de oude stad zien liggen. Er is een ruime parkeerplek. Er is een supermarkt om de hoek en zowel het strand als het stadje is op 15 minuten lopen. De eigenaar was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Een goede plek om te verblijven in de buurt van Dubrovnik.

Het appartement ligt onder de aanvliegroute van het vliegveld van Dubrovnik. Tussen 6 uur 's-ochtends en 12 uur 's-avonds komen er daarom regelmatig vliegtuigen over vliegen. Wij zijn stadsmensen en zijn wel wat gewend, en hadden er dus geen last van. Als je echter gevoelig bent voor dit soort dingen dan moet je daar wel rekening mee houden.
