Nice place and friendly staff

Very clean and centrally located. It was tastefully decorated and there was parking available. Lovely breakfast

I found the mattress far too soft, but I guess other guests like that. I prefer a firm mattress so I found it difficult to sleep

Spacious elegant room for a great night sleep!

Spacious, well cared for, clean, aesthetically pleasant, added extras. Coffee, water, nice shampoo and body wash, a breakfast that I missed, but looks great, if I remember right—no charge for my dog!!! and off road parking!

Warm, lovely and very clean!

It was one of the cleanest rooms I’ve ever stayed in. The host was so friendly and lovely she showed me to the room and explained how everything works. The room had a little touches like a black towel to remove your make-up. The breakfast is cooked to order and fresh in the morning. Great location, cute little car park it was a really lovely home from Home 🏡.

Without any doubt the best place to stay in Wimborne and surrounding areas. Exceptional!

What a superb place to stay! We have been coming down from South Wales for several years to wimborne to watch the local Panto. Have always stayed at the Gordon House Hotel. Fabulous management and always welcoming. The accommodation is immaculate and has all amenities one would require. Excellent comfy bed and excellent service and breakfast. Can't really fault anything and would thoroughly recommend a stay here. Parking provided free is a bonus too!

Good location for Tivoli goers.

Pick up keys from key box is good idea. They sent me detail message how to pick up keys. Room is a good size and plenty of tea and coffee and bottled water, I guess water is better is Dorset.

I didn't see any staff till breakfast time, I'm not complaining but tad bit spooky.

Great location, welcoming host, lovely stay

Fabulous location. We asked to park early which was happily arranged and when we arrived we could check in too. Lovely room, comfortable bed, nice tea tray, hot shower. Everything was spotless. Had a very nice breakfast in the morning. Friendly, welcoming host. We would stay again.

I found the shower head kept turning downwards so not as easy to use. The shower was hot and large enough so not a massive problem but I would've struggled a bit more if I was washing my hair. An easy fix I'm sure.

Excellent stay at this well presented property. I was greeted upon arrival and straight away the Staff assisted me in any way they could. The room was lovely with all the facilities you may require. Cannot end this review without mentioning the breakfast, it was superb! Definitely would stay again without a doubt.

Our second stay at Gordon House for a visit to Wimborne and the Tivoli Theatre and once again a very comfortable stay. Anne is always very welcoming and friendly.

Located right in the centre of Wimborne close to the theatre and wether spoons, and the church and shops. The hosts were very friendly and the room was spotless and the breakfast very tasty and served with a smile!

Very very soft bed in the upstairs twin room - it was like a marshmallow. Good pillows though! (I’ve stayed in three different rooms over the last two years)

Fantastic stay

Great location - very convenient for the Tivoli theatre and Wimbourne town centre. Easy on-site parking. Lovely full English breakfast with quality ingredients and cooked perfectly. Comfortable room. Hosts are fantastic - very friendly and do everything possible to please their guests. Would definitely stay again.

It's an excellent location and Anne runs a wonderful guest house. The rooms and dining room are tastefully decorated and immaculately clean. I always enjoy stating at Gordon House. Breakfast is very good and very nicely served.

Very comfortable beds, excellently fan for the hot night,breakfast superb, onsite parking, central to town, very friendly staff, pleasant decor,spotless.

No fault of the host but the friday night town was noisy with heavy music and shouting. Eventually quietened down. Last minute booking only 1 room available ..twin in the roof whose shower room very cramped but at least it was our own bathroom and not shared.would love to experience a bigger room on the middle level.

This is a beautiful period house located in the heart of the historic Dorset town of Wimborne. The property has been renovated to an extremely high standard with great attention to the detail of guests’ needs. Everything you need is within easy walking distance.
