Breakfast was decent, well cooked apart from raw tomato. Service was quick and efficient. My wife was not so keen on scrambled eggs and salmon.
Room was shabby, nowhere to hang clothing in wardrobe. Patio door had been broken previously and botched repair job done, very difficult to open, bed was very lumpy and uncomfortable which led to two very poor nights sleep.
Dinner in restaurant was very poor quality for price (scampi chips and peas) which could well have come from Iceland and was not what we would expect from a hotel.
Hotel appears to be very run down and scruffy. There appears to be a rubbish dump in the back garden which resembles a fly tip.

Neatly placed on the side of the bypass only down side is you could miss the turn if your not careful . Rooms are very warm and very comfy beds

Full English was very nice, however on the second morning the continental selection was poor, no croissants or fresh bread rolls to select. One particular member of staff in the morning was extremely rude and we felt she did not want to provide any customer service.
Continental improvement and certain staff to attend customer training. The kitchen service in the evening was very very disappointing, pie crust was inedible! Not value for the money.

Great location for work.. free parking..comfy pollows and bed..pub on site serving decent food. Great value stay
Unfortunately I had a external door with no handle and obviously broken with parts on the floor which didn't give the best impression
The toilet cistern would randomly spurt water, noisy when up stairs flushed it seems

Not overly impressed with the food.
Breakfast “continental was fine” Full english seems to be hit and miss. We have stayed at St Leonards many times as a stopover when visiting family to break up the journey home. Full english has been great and not so great, a bit more consistency is required I think to ensure a full breakfast is perfect every time.
The main meal in the restaurant once again hit and miss. We had Steak the first night which was fine but the chips were some cooked nice, some a bit black, some over done and hard, the chef or cook should ensure they are all presentable and edible, as for the onion rings, TWO onion rings in a small bowl, taking the hit and miss I think. Second night Steak pie mash and broccoli, no complaints, third night we decided to eat out. No complaints about the room but the TV could be better if your able to apply your individual netflix, or prime video to it which is allowed when travelling, terrestrial tv is pretty poor nowadays.

Easy to locate. Dinner and breakfast were good value for money. Room was a good size and clean.
The check-in service was not very welcoming. Staff seemed quite stressed.
The bath plug in room 6 does not fit properly so I couldn’t have a much needed bath.

Stayed several times. Convenient location for what we need.
Some areas are looking a bit tired. I noticed a vision on bench seat by the bar is split. The shower attachment has gone rusty inside the tube. Just a bit tatty

Very friendly staff
Lovely very clean room, nice & warm (we haven't got heating at home at the moment !)
Lovely comfy bed with good quality linen.
The restaurant is good value for money & the meals are very good.
The dogs enjoyed being spoilt by the staff!
The room could do with more lights. There was only 1 bedside lamp & 1 lamp on the desk. Perhaps a main light?
I am currently using a wheelchair/ crutches which I mentioned when booking, the small flight of stairs to get to room 18 were a pain, but we managed to get round to the patio doors with the wheelchair, but it was very cold to keep going outside!

Room was large and clean, on ground floor as requested
The accessible room was booked 24 hrs in advance, but when we arrived at apx 8 pm, there was no heating in the room, it was very cold (28 December), also there was no food - kitchen orders finished 8.pm. We were not aware of this when we booked in. I would expect a hotel to supply food at least until 22.00

Breakfast at extra cost was pretty decent. But I got the avocado toast that was okay. My family member had the full English and that was really good though. The rooms are very clean and large. The breakfast is at the pub downstairs and it’s a decent place to have dinner or lunch
However the avocado toast was not very nice, bread was a bit stiff and avocado did not taste as nice. The WiFi was reaaaaally slow and I could barely get signal at the property

Breakfast was lovely room comfortable staff excellent
My car was broken into in the car park window smashed Christmas presents stolen along with cash, also my son’s car was also broken into presents stolen both cars have quite a bit of damage.
Looking on line there appears to have been a number of cars damaged yet no warnings are given and the car park in terms of security is a joke .

Could do with more staff in the dining room. Very slow service. A lovely evening menu to choose from. As it was steak night that’s what we ordered but the steaks were overcooked probably because of short staffed in the kitchen!

Great place for one night. The dining area was very large and the food for dinner was great. Many choices. We had breakfast and the full English was very fresh and tasty. They allow dogs in an area of the restaurant and certain rooms which is amazing. The room was great, newly updated bathroom with powerful shower. The room had a door to the outside which was ideal for the dogs. Big bed. Rooms were excellent value for money.
Need better lighting in the room. An uplighter or table lamp. Difficult to see.
