The Casas de Aldea Peñanes are located in the central area of Asturias, in a small village of the mountain called Peñanes, in the municipality of Morcín, 15 minutes, 14 km from Oviedo.
Casas de Aldea Peñanes is a building of traditional Asturian architecture, dominated by stone and wood, composed of three village houses: Peñanes 1, Peñanes 2 and Peñanes 3.
In particular Peñanes 1 has capacity for 4 people. It has equipped kitchen, dishwasher, living room with fireplace, 2 bathrooms, 2 double rooms overlooking a bread basket with more than 200 years old and the Monsacro and the Sierra del Aramo with its famous L'Angliru cycling port. Outside there is a terrace with a table and wooden benches and a green area with barbecue grill. To share with the other 2 houses there is parking and children's area.

The apartment was in a quiet village a ways south of Oviedo, but still with good access to sights in the area. We had nice walks in the evening in the countryside. Apartment was great with lots of space. Would recommend if you're looking for a quiet place to return to in the evening after sightseeing.

Todo muy bien, algo corto de menaje pero suficiente para una familia de 4. Está muy bien comunicado y el estado de la casa es muy bueno.

Hemos estado 4 dias estupendos pasados por agua. Tiempo típico de Asturias pero aún así nos lo hemos pasado super bien. La casa esta super limpia, bien cuidada y muy calentita. El entorno es super bonito. La recomiendo a todo el mundo

Después de haber regresado a nuestros destinos de origen y acabadas las vacaciones, quería dar mi opinión sobre las casas:
Somos un grupo de 5 familias con niños (21 en total), que hemos disfrutado durante una semana de agosto de la convivencia en las tres casas que conforman el grupo de las Casas de Aldea Peñanes en Asturias.
…En lo referente al alojamiento, éste ha sido perfecto. Las casas, muy bonitas y en magnífico estado, están equipadas con todo lo necesario y comodidades posibles. La ubicación de las casas, por otra parte, resulta ideal; en una pequeñita aldea sin ruidos, al aire libre y con amplios espacios naturales para sentirse absolutamente distante del agobio y presión de los núcleos urbanos. Su paisaje es cautivador. Con todo, tiene la inmejorable ventaja de encontrarse a no más de quince minutos de Oviedo y a no más de una hora de cualquier sitio de interés turístico del Principado de Asturias. Su situación, es como comento, totalmente idónea.
Por último, solo me queda agradecer a sus titulares (María y su padre) el cariño, amabilidad y atención prestada a todo el grupo. Todo un ejemplo de buen hacer y de amor al oficio. No nos faltó de nada y nos sobró atenciones. Muchas gracias por todo y por hacernos pasar una semana increíble.
