Résidence rurale très accueillante, avec un beau terrain, une terrasse pour dîner devant le soleil couchant et un hôte parlant un anglais excellent. Des chevaux et des vaches vous tiendront compagnie, dans un campagne encore verte en dépit d'un été très sec. Plages et beaux villages à proximité.

We have young children, so having such a big safe garden was magical. The apartment is basic and the beds weren't the most comfortable, but it was fine and had everything we needed. You can walk 8 minutes one way and get to the main bus stop and a small beach on the river bank (great for a swim at high tide). You can walk 15 mins the other way and get to the big beach. There's also parking. Our trip was especially nice because the other guests were so kind and lovely. We were sorry to leave. Also we made use of the laundry service and it was luxury to get home after a busy day to a bag of clean, folded laundry.

We coincided with some teenager summer camps so the evenings were a bit noisy until they went to bed at 11. I imagine this would only happen for a few weeks in the summer though. If we didn't have young kids, it wouldn't have been a problem.
