Early check-in is possible if the room is ready and you inform them of your arrival time in advance. The room is very spacious and best suited for 2 guests for maximum comfort, though it can fit 4. Amenities are minimal, other than toiletries, they providing only tissues and dish detergent (no laundry detergent or wet wipes also minimal towels count). The headboard outlets are handy but too cramped for larger adapters, and other plugs are poorly placed. However, the bathroom is spacious with a nice semi-full tub and a Japanese-style bath stool. Location-wise, it's midway between Gion and Nakasu-Kawabata stations (a 450–550m walk to the elevator entrance). There are plenty of convenience stores and restaurants nearby, with the entertainment district within walking distance, though main shopping areas require a subway ride.

If they paid more attention to detail—like providing laundry detergent, wet wipes, extra trash bags, and a space to hang-dry clothes or a bathroom ventilation dryer, using digital key instead of physical, lower the price a bit—this place could easily score a 9. To get a perfect 10, it would also need to be closer to the transit station.
