Let's start with address, owner gave me. He translated Valencian named address after I booked and I couldn't find on Google maps. Taxi took me to address but owner was late arriving and I was scared I paid for a non existent place. An address cannot be translated because it's a name. Very confusing. Apartment initially looked like pictures but upon closer inspection, sofa was broken and covers were stained and had a funky smell. Balcony opens to an inner courtyard that is ugly, listing shows balcony, patio, outdoor furniture, terrace which is completely false. Washer is outside in another ugly courtyard. Bedroom smelled funky too. Don't know if anything was washed recently. Bed was very uncomfortable, flat pillows, and can hear conversation from upstairs neighbors at night, had difficulty getting any sleep. Bathroom shower drain was disgusting and water drained very slowly. Shower hinges broken and old, worn-out towels were given to us. Air conditioner was in living room only and bedroom was hot, so we had to leave door open to try to sleep. I opened fridge to get some bottled water I bought at 2am and found roaches inside fridge. Listing is advertised as beautiful with 1.5 bathrooms which is not true, only 1 bathroom. Listing says king bed, and 2 twin beds, not true. Bed is full size and only 1 twin bed. Paper towels provided as amenities is not true either. Neighborhood is old, and rundown. Listing says near the sea, not true. Beaches are 1 hr away, and most of the things h

The owner Miguel was very helpful. The apartment well suited for 2 to 3 people. Situated in a quite area. Very near the metro line going from the city center to the airport. Valencia during las Fallas is worth a visit. It is very noisy in the centre during the festival. In Miguel's apartment we avoided most of the noise, still having fallas nearby and only 5 to 10 minutes to the centre.

A very nice apartment with all you need (except a kettle for tea making Brits :) ). The apartment is very close to the Metro stop Nou Ocktober - on the line direct to the Airport. Two nice bedrooms - one set up for younger children. The key was available as arranged right on time outside the apartment and the welcome was very warm - though it is good for you to know a moderate amount of Spanish, to understand the instructions etc. you can walk to the Bio Parc in 20 minutes or the large Carrefour across the old riverbed in 15 minutes. There are some nice local bars and cafes too. I would book this apartment again - which is something I seldom do.
