The Lodge is a spacious detached Grade II listed property in the North Yorkshire village of Snainton, just nine miles from Scarborough. Spread over three floors, the property has eight bedrooms (five super king-size doubles and three twins), one with a day bed, as well as four family bathrooms. On the ground floor is a kitchen, a dining room and two sitting rooms, one with a woodburning stove. Outside is off road parking, a lawned garden with outdoor furniture and a sumptuous hot tub. Just a short drive to the coast, and close to the North York Moors National Park, The Lodge is a superb family holiday home for a memorable holiday in North Yorkshire.

Gas range cooker, double electric oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, 2 x TVs with FreeSat, DVDs, CD/radio, WiFi, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel, power and starter pack for stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Two travel cots and two highchairs (these are in the property permanently). Off road parking for 5 cars. Private enclosed lawned garden with decking, furniture and hot tub, The garden included in your rental is the upper and lower lawn. The land beyond this doesn’t form part of the rental. Region: The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

Town: The pretty village of Snainton is ideally situated between Pickering and Scarborough and at the foot of North York Moors National Park. Snainton has many amenities including a shop/post office and two pubs that serve food. For those that like horses, there is an excellent riding centre that provides for all ages and abilities. Nearby there is a superb driving range with a 9 hole golf course and cycle rides. A short drive away is Dalby Forest, with fantastic opportunities for walking, mountain biking and the opportunity to experience the Go Ape adventure park. Also easily accessible by car are the seaside resorts of Scarborough and Whitby, the market town of Pickering and the historic city of York.
