The Wrea Head Hall Country House Hotel & Restaurant

This is a really lovely place to stay. We had tickets for consecutive nights at Scarborough Open Ait Thestre, and this venue was very convenient. The second night was better as we knew better, how to get a taxi after the show.. The staff were all very nice, very polite and helpful, and also good knowledge of the history of this very special building and grounds.. The food was excellent, both breakfast and dinner. This hotel was a good location to go to visit the local area. Whitby, Robin Hoods Bay etc. Driving through the North Yorkshire Wolds was a delight, even with the parched countryside.

I honestly could not find anything that was an issue. I would definitely return here in the future.

Breakfast and dinner were lovely, the Chef is clearly talented, staff were professional, courteous and helpful

Staff were friendly, we arrived early for checking in so had sandwiches and wine on the lawn, this was pleasant , however the gardener was mowing the lawns which at times was noisy but didn't spoil the atmosphere.

There was no air-conditioning in the bedrooms, no fridge and no safe which were disappointing there was also no face cloths in the bathroom so had to use a towel to wash with.
