Nightmare Host

The house wasn't too bad to be fair and did have plenty of space.

The owner! She is an absolute nightmare of a human being, she demanded more money once I had paid meaning I had to book one of my other employees into other accommodation, she was sending texts to another one of my employees in the early hours of the morning trying to convince him to sign up to pyramid schemes, she was telling my employees that I was trying to scam her and she told them that they had to pay extra to use the hot tub even though she agreed beforehand it was included in the price, accused us of having random people in the house whilst we were at work, would I recommend the house, yes, will you get a load of grief with it, yes, would I stay there again, absolutely not.

Superb

Only had 1 night here but it was a fantastic trip Liz really helped us out made sure everything was set up and did way more than she needed to to make sure our stay was as good asàqq it could be. Hot tub was amazing from the Bluetooth speakers to the perfect water temperature. And apartment was incredible too, loads of space for guests and a great amount of amenities, cannot recommend this high enough.

If there was anything to mention it would probably just be that i wished i had known about the pricing for the extra amenities beforehand so I could have planned more

A pleasant stay

Liz was very lovely and welcoming. She was very hospitable and our family feel very welcome, everything we could of possibly needed was on site, thought of before even asking for or provided when asked. Liz was very patient with our large group and we loved using the large beautiful garden, but the trip came to a bit of a downer at the end when we was charged for items we didn’t agree to use/was stated would be included. Liz provided us with lots of fans as we stayed during the hottest week of the year - so they was very welcomed! Overall a pleasant stay in the Rainbow Apartments.

Despite being asked by the owner to not leave any negative feedback, please see below our honest and truthful review of our stay: There’s some confusion in the advert as listed there is a tennis court and 3 swimming pools, these are in fact just nearby and a large paddling pool is provided in the garden instead, so perhaps these should be removed from the listing to avoid confusion with future bookings. There was further confusion about what amenities we did/didn’t need to pay for, so would make sure to clarify this before arrival to avoid any shock charges upon return of your deposit. We noted after our stay that this was mentioned further down in the reviews that we somehow missed, so make sure you make clear what you do/don’t want to use when staying. Liz failed to return our £400.00 cash deposit to us in person as she had gone to bed late the night before our check out,understandably this can’t always be helped however it was important to us that we got this back in person and caused a lot of stress on our last day of our holiday and w felt we should of come first in this matter. There is a lot of furniture in all the rooms so is a bit of a tight squeeze for what it is advertised as. Would recommend removing a lot of the furniture and items provided in the living room and kitchen. We would also recommend putting away any stuff on the sides in the kitchen and cleaning products that are left out in the bathroom. The 1st floor bathroom also could do with a blind as next door appear to be able to look straight in at you in the shower! Be aware of the dog charge for doggies, it’s £50.00 per dog which is quite steep but Liz provided lots of options for them all and was very patient with our large group.

A Beautiful Building in a lovely location

The location is an easy (mostly flat) 30 minute walk to Bournemouth Pier , with plenty of parking, beautiful garden with hot tub and Bbq etc extras that can be booked. The apartment is well equipped with everything you may need during your stay and the owner is really approachable and friendly , nothing was too much trouble, the cook your own breakfast items left were both plentiful and varied. The hot tub was lush especially in the evenings when the garden is frequented by wild life. Loved all the roof top windows and how light this made the space . Lots of fresh air allowed to flow. Great wifi and great sky channels. Every delivery service you can imagine delivers here also so if you fancy a few days Of not cooking It’s on the doorstep ! All in all a great few days away!

The only thing I would have to say for me there was a lot of furniture and things in each space for a self catering apartment luckily we were only 4 persons so had plenty of rooms to spread out. But the apartment has some really beautiful pieces it would be in my opinion better if they were more accessible and some pieces moved out . One dresser . One drawers and one wardrobe is plenty for a holiday let bedroom and this would allow the use of those pieces freely. Also the kitchen equipment some of the cupboards you couldn’t open the doors without cascading pans , again half the amount would be more than plenty. This would also allow easier access for cleaners to sanitise between guests.

25th birthday celebrations

Liz and Craig were very welcoming and are really generous hosts. They go above and beyond to make sure you feel welcome. Thank you so much for making my celebrations special! The apartment itself was very clean and incredibly comfortable, with everything we could possibly need- and more! We were a group of friends celebrating my belated birthday and we had a wonderful time at Rainbow apartment. It is of a very high standard, spacious, spotless and extremely comfortable. We can not recommend it highly enough.
