I really enjoyed the location—it offered the perfect balance of peace and quiet. The cottage itself was lovely, with a layout that felt both comfortable and practical. I appreciated having the option to do laundry and dry clothes by the log fire in the living room, which added a cosy touch. Being able to stream my TV shows was also a great bonus. It was ideally situated too—close enough for outings when we felt like exploring, yet far enough away to truly relax and unwind.
I wouldn’t go as far to say ‘I didn’t like’ but I do feel the bigger (front bedroom) would benefit from a king size bed as opposed to a double. My partner and I are both tall and we sleep better in our king at home. Aware this is just individual taste how and ever.

We loved the location of the cottage....we felt like we were quite far from civilization yet the town of Arbroath and shops, was only 5 minutes away.
There wasn't anything we didn't like.

Great location and a beautiful cottage with everything available for a very comfortable stay. We had an issue with the heating on arrival and the owner was very quick to respond, sending over a plumber, and it fixed within the hour. Lovely walks nearby and Arbroath a short drive away. We had a lovely family weekend and would love to return again. The cottage is very dog friendly with a large enclosed garden behind.
There was nothing we didn't like.
