Location was perfect as it was half way between the Munich and the mountains (Garmisch, Oberammergau). The host gave us the cards which allowed us to use many nearby attractions free of charge (including local transportation). The garden terrace was a definite asset. The apartment was well equipped (including washing machine) so it is ok even for longer stays. No problems whatsoever with communication with the hosts who were helpful and friendly but not imposing.

The apartment is half ground floor and half basement so there is no view. From the terrace chairs you cant see much even though the area is beautiful. The neighbor’s field is a bit above the level of this apartment so there is not much that can be done by owners. But for active people who hike a lot during the day this may not always be a problem. We liked the place.

Urlaub am Staffelsee

Die Ferienwohnung war sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und mit allem was man braucht ausgestattet. Für uns war die Lage top, sehr ruhig und idyllisch. Der Staffelsee und Murnau waren mit dem Rad super schnell erreichbar. Die Zeit zum Relaxen auf der Terrasse haben wir sehr genossen. Das Ehepaar Schwarzer war zur Stelle, wenn Fragen oder Wünsche waren. Unsere Räder konnten wir in einer abschließbaren Hütte sicher abstellen. Danke für die 2 tollen erholsamen Wochen.
