Cheap but not a good B&B Hotel example

Brown/ red spatter marks on room wall and shower cabinet door wouldn’t close properly. Water leaks into room.

Having to pay 2x for the same room makes it VERY expensive.

Hotel has charged me 2x, once through Booking, and then a 2nd time at automated check-in. 1 months later, after sending multiple emails and asking for many forms and proofs, they still didn't reimburse me.

Breakfast OK. Staff OK but did not ask us how we were or if everything OK

Duvet on double bed inadequate not even wide enough to cover the width of the bed. Everything very basic. We realise that it is a budget hotel but is not cheap to match. We have stayed in much better budget hotels!

Pleasant

I recently stayed at the ibis budget Dueren West during my visit to Duren, and I must say, the check-in process was hassle-since kay card machine was out of order, and the front desk staff was not available until 5 pm. The room was not spacious, but very clean, and well-maintained. Mornings coffee can get done through vending machine at reception. The hotel's location was also a plus, with specious parking lot.
