Great location for local amenities, clean hotel and pleasant stay

The property is only a 2 minute walk from a train station and with how efficient the railway services are in it Germany it makes it easy to visit other towns and cities while also being able to return to the hotel late into the night The property is well maintained, the decor does feel a bit dated but the staff keep it clean to a high standard, staff are about every day to supply fresh towels and assist with other requests There are more local amenities at a close walking distance.. supermarkets, pharmacy, restaurants and pubs overall a lovely place to stay There was an issue with the lift for the building that meant it was going to be out for the period of our trip but the hotel managed to arrange us a room on the 1st floor instead of the 4th floor where we were set to be

The hotel do a buffet breakfast in the morning but I felt the hours where a bit short and could have been longer or started a little later to finish later

It's a good hotel for anyone travelling on a budget. Nothing extraordinary, but very clean, decent breakfast and friendly staff. In terms of location, the hotel is spot on in the city's center.

Everything was amazing from the moment we stepped in. Very attentive staff, comfortable and spacious family room and filling breakfast.

Shame the hotel restaurant was closed due to the fuel crisis.

I had booked 4 rooms for a week in this hotel. We were at this hotel before covid with 3 rooms. Two days before check in I got an email saying that my credit card is not valid! while I was using it in another hotel in a city 70 kilometers from Post Hotel. I updated the card and called them twice and explained the whole story and I was ensured that there is no problem. But it was not true since my reservation was cancelled and I had to book 4 rooms in another hotel and I lost around 2000 EUR. The answering individuals were too irresponsible. I booked one more day one room at this hotel to be able to write my feedback to that cancellation. Surprisingly for this single day they charged 5 EUR extra for electricity consumption which was not in my booking.

Lovely hotel in a great location.

Perfect location, amazing staff, very clean, and will definitely book again when in the area.

The bathroom door was glass and see-through without a lock, and unfortunately, there was no still water.

Superb

An older hotel but clean. Hard to say about the location - we appeared to be downtown in a working area. We felt safe. Breakfast was delicious - hot items and fresh bread, fruit, vegetables, cold meats, museli, yogurt. Parking was small and fellow next to us parked over the line causing our driver to have to crawl out back hatch! Room was newly remodeled and clean. Somewhat small but perfectly fine. Refrigerator in our room

1 room had dirty carpet and slight smell but all else was clean. Would recommend. Glass door on the bathroom - partially frosted- seemed weird.

I need my cancelled 4 breakfasts refund

Location

I cancelled one breakfast out of 2 everyday of my stay . I did notify by email to the property through booking.com . This makes 4 breakfasts cancelled. Though the property said on their email it can be settled on their reception when I arrive there, nothing happened and I did not get my refund of aroundc44 euros until now. I am not happy and I had to tell the story to the receptionist at Düren post hotel every day to follow up the case. Please advise ASAP

Exceptional

It was the tidiest, cleanest hotel i have ever been. Room is very comfi, breakfast top of the class, as is location.

Overly inspite of these shortcomings we will be back as hotel very central for our needs.

Hotel has changed hands and the breakfast not as good as before. Breakfast staff and room staff extremely helpful and pleasant !

Some of the other staff not so friendly and rather abrupt. A bit more choice for breakfast and fresh fruit would have been appreciated.

A clean town hotel.

The rooms and communal areas of the hotel were clean. Breakfast was good with a wide choice. The hotel is situated in the town which is a reasonable size. A good restaurant is Nish Nush which has delicious Israeli food.

The hotel bar and restaurant were closed, meaning no relaxing drink and meal after a long journey.
