Everything was great!!!

We stayed in the apartment for three days and absolutely loved it. The location is wonderful — not far from the train station and close to a charming waterfall. The apartment is situated right beneath a cliff and the waterfall, which creates a truly unique and beautiful atmosphere. The apartment was very clean and well-maintained. It had absolutely everything we needed: a hairdryer, an iron, and a fully equipped kitchen with spices, cooking oil, and a dishwasher with plenty of tablets provided. There was also a great variety of kitchenware available. We were welcomed by a warm, cozy, and pleasant atmosphere that made us feel at home right away. We would definitely recommend this place!

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment! The place was very clean, spacious, and exactly as described, and all the listed amenities were fully provided and in great condition. We were especially grateful for the host’s kindness and responsiveness. Although the washing machine belonged to the building owner, the host went out of their way to request access for us, which we truly appreciated 🥹 Communication was excellent with very fast responses whenever we faced any issues. The hospitality was outstanding, and the views of Staubbach Falls were absolutely beautiful. Highly recommend this place!

Definitely a beautiful town with very nice friendly people.

Location was good. Food was great at Steinbock restaurant.

The shower needed to be cleaned better. There was mold around the grout etc. Was rather nasty to have to shower in a that condition. Shampoo and bath gel left on the floor was unappealing to say the least. Maybe an extra towel would have been nice. The apartment felt more like a rental for college kids instead of a couple or family. The rate was higher compared to the other bed and breakfast or hotels near by, therefore we had higher expectations.

Truly breathtaking waterfall apartment!

The view of the waterfall was spectacular and we got a chance to explore the towns once the hoards of people left. The apartment was spacious and clean. Parking was available.

Just be warned that there are a tremendous amount of tourists in town. The apartment is on the way to the waterfall so it was difficult to drive to the apartment. The apartment made up for this inconvenience in spades though.

Location wise is very good. The view from the apartment is of course the Staubbach falls as shown in the photos. Very spacious apartment. There were 6 of us in total and everyone is happy during our stay here.

The view cannot be beat. Waking up and having a coffee on the balcony while soaking it in was amazing. It’s just off the main road so there was less car traffic. Simply amazing place to stay.

Fabulous in every way!

Loved the view. Loved the apartment. Was prepared with a lot of thought and we had everything we needed even for our large family. Beautiful clean apartment . I also loved that there was a big enough dining area and table for our family to enjoy our meals together . I already miss waking up to the waterfall!

A lock on the bathroom door would have been appreciated, we are a family with kids of various ages from 18-7. And also for us parents to have more privacy when showering , or using bathroom and not worry one of our kids would accidentally walk in. Other than that- was a perfect stay!

Very poor

Firstly we could not get the heater to work effectively. More so was the issue of the extremely loud and invasive construction noise that we heard consistently through the evening. So much so that we had to vacate the property at approximately 6 PM. We reached out to the host, sent them a video of the construction noise. We told them we would pay the cleaning fee since we were in the property for a couple hours but we wanted a refund for the evening since we had to vacate. They were extremely inflexible and would not work with us regarding that. We ended up getting charged the entire amount. Buyer beware on this one!

Breathtaking Waterfall Views Indeed

Outstanding location, right by one of the most spectacular waterfalls in the valley and with a direct view of the whole thing from the private balcony. The check-in and out process was entirely a self-service lock-box affair, so very quick and simple. The second floor flat was modern, a good size, clean, and well appointed. There was good wifi and a large television that allowed for wireless casting, which we liked. Lots of cupboard space, but in a central area rather than in each bedroom. The building itself is off-set from the main road so no traffic noise - just the occasional cow bell sounding in the distance. And although there is a modern kitchen, there are also many good options for eating out locally that you'll want to explore.

Not an issue, but remember that the flat has no washing machine facilities. However, a five minute walk away is a self-serve laundromat that opens at 9am. The cost is 5 CHF (only takes coins, but all Swiss coinage accepted) and the cycle is about an hour. There is also a tumble-dryer option for the same price and rough duration. Also not an issue, but the waterfall is a really popular site for visitors on foot, as you can imagine. Although parking is provided directly outside the building, navigating the short distance between the house and the main road can be tricky - the tourists are all looking up, so you have to be aware for them.

+ outstanding terrace view on main waterfall + cosy and clean apartment with everything needed + welcome present for guests as a touch of care :) I strongly recommend this place to choose for staying in Lauterbrunnen!

Pleasant

A nice and clean 3 bed, 1 bath property about 10 minute walk from Lauterbrunnen train station. Kitchen was equipped for simple meals. Beds were comfortable and on the firm side which I like. Hot showers were pleasant after a day of strenuous hiking. Lovely views of Lauterbrunnen valley and the waterfall.

I enjoyed the 10 min walk from the train station (has mild uphill then downhill portion) but my elderly parents did not - FYI for those with the same. Cowbells will wake you early in the morning if you leave the windows open for air.
