Great stay

We (family with two kids, 5y and 2y) had a great stay. Our room was very spacious, proper and comfortable. Kind and attentive staff. Simple but delicious breakfast with fresh croissants and bread. As expected it took a few minutes to get up to the Axalp but the location/landscape is very relaxing.

The perfect stay for the perfect holiday

We had a wonderful time here. The apartment is spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The location is stunning, perched on top of a mountain. In the summer, it’s pleasantly cool up there, while the valley below was quite hot. The owner is very nice and always willing to help or think along if you have a small request. For Swiss standards, it’s also reasonably priced.

We really enjoyed everything. Just keep in mind (this isn’t a complaint, just a factual note) that it’s a bit of a drive uphill from the valley to get there. We actually found that part of the drive quite fun.

A mountain chalet that made you feel that you were in Switzerland

We booked the 4 person Chalet and we were very happy with the location( the views were stunning) the facilities and the hosting by owner Rudi who was on hand if needed were excellent too.

It was a great place to stay and good value for money.

The location is great. The building is surrounded by slight snow covered mountains. Great scenic beauty.

Although it was worth it, but the road access to the huts are a bit challenging. At certain times, there was really narrow road for two cars to go simultaneously. There is one bus which goes up the hill and then comes down. So it is highly recommended to check the bus times to avoid getting stuck next to the bus.😊

Super clean, spacious, very welcoming family, I can only recommend it, the way up was a bit challenging at night, but at morning it was breathtaking, the view was amazing, I’m definitely coming again.

Hospitality excellence for more than two decades!

I've known Herr Rubi, the owner and manager of Chemihüttli, since 2004. He has always been impeccable as a host and I often use him as an example of how a hotel should be run. Not only the apartments are in perfect working order and clean, but the way Herr Rubi and his team look after you will make you feel at home from day one. Parking is available on site (our car was parked five steps from the flat's door!) and, when the weather allows it, you can ski on and out.

We stayed at this beautiful apartment during our trip to Switzerland, I would only say that stay ws WONDERFUL. Apartment was very clean and located in top of the Axalp mountain and route to the apartment itself was filled with thrilling and beautiful views of Lake Brienz. Ruby at Reception was very helpful and kind.. I would totally recommend this property

We stayed at apartment no.3 it would have been good if there is a seperation between two double beds, but I can understand they have different apartment for that.. it's just my suggestion..

The place is very nice at the top of the mountain with unique view and good weather. far from crowded area and allowing you to feel full relaxation

Very pleasant stay

Beautiful location, very clean and the beds were so comfortable. Parking was right outside our doorstep, which makes it very convenient bringing our baggage in.. It was a pleasant stay.

Everything was good, clean, very nice and helpful staff. Good location and scenery. Car parking available right at the door . Apartment rooms are good sized too. There is a swimming pool too.

Host were very friendly and spoke German and English. Amazing hiking, and swimming locations close by. Met several locals and they were all friendly. Very quiet.

Amazing place, super nice hosts, the apartment is large and clean, the location is on top of the hill with beautiful views. We stayed for another night because we really liked the place. Would highly recommend staying there!
