De lokatie vlak bij supermarkt en midden in de stad. Goede mogelijkheid om met de
bus naar het strand te gaan
Dat er geen zonneterras was. Wij zijn 2 tachtigers en dan is het fijn
om af en toe daar te relaxen.

De ligging, perfect midden in het centrum. Alles is aanwezig. Attent presentje van de gastheer. Er waren koffiepads, afwasmiddel, 2 flessen water. Heel handig want tegenwoordig is de supermarkt dicht op zondag. Er is wel een Spar in de buurt die op zondag open is. De douche heeft een harde straal, maarja daar moet je dan wel wat aan hebben. Er zijn genoeg pannen, veel serviesgoed, het was ook schoon, op alle bedden lagen handdoeken en lakens. Ook op de stapelbedden veel te hoge kussens voor kinderen.
Allereerst de comunicatie over t binnenkomen. Afgesproken was dat ik zou bellen zodra ik in de taxi zat. Wel 7 x gebeld, maar er werd niet beantwoordt. Meteen dus stress. Behoorlijk frustrerend. Toen bleek er ineens een app te zijn gestuurd. We werden opgewacht door een nichtje van de beheerder die geen woord Engels sprak, ik had van te voren bericht gekregen dat de broer van de host ons zou opwachten. Gevraagd was het app. te verwarmen, dit was niet gedaan. Er zat een slot op de airco/ verwarming van max.19°, dat is 's avonds veel te koud half december. Er was mij toegezegd dat het balkon op de zon lag, absoluut niet waar. Dit had mede de keus bepaald voor dit app. te kiezen. De douche was verstopt, net als de wastafelafvoer en de douchekop viel uit de gescheurde houder die met plakband aan elkaar zat. Weer moeten klagen. Direct werd er iemand gestuurd die een nieuwe houder kwam plaatsen. De verstopping werd knullig "opgelost" dmv een plastic draadje waar mee geroerd werd in de afvoer, zodat wij een week precies 45 sec konden douchen anders liep de douchebak over. De host kon het allemaal niet aan en ik baal dat er niet van te voren wordt gecontroleerd wat er kapot is. De hoofdkussens zijn veel te hoog, nergens liggen kleinere kussens, ook niet op de bank. De aankleding van t app.is vreselijk ongezellig. Nergens iets aan de muur. Totaal gebrek aan stopcontacten. In alle kamers! Omdat de ligging zo perfect is geef ik t app nog wel een 7.

We selected this apartment for central location. We have stayed in Alicante before and were resonably familiar with this area. Good bottle of red wine and two water bottles in the fridge. Good supermarket "next door".
Maintenance is poor or unacceptable. When we came there was no light in the bathroom and we received rather "dry" responce when asking for maintenance (special bulb required and only one light in the bathroom). When the lightbulb failied the following day in the living room we decided not to call for maintenance, but removed one from another room. Most serious problem was with the shower. It did not drain and consequently the bathroom flooded. The shower head was broken and impossible to set it up properly. Again we did not call for service. We counted 13 A-4 printouts on the walls, citing rules like no parties and similar. Still two ashtrays and even lighter was provided although we assume smoking was not permitted or tolerated. Regarding the location: it is good, but there is a heavy trafffic outside, made worse by the stoplight very close to the apartment, making noise from early in the morning into late night.
