Apartamentos Santa Barbara

The room was fine and comfortable

While the inside of the apartment was nice the outside was full of graffiti which resulted in us initially walking past it . We stayed over a weekend and on Friday and Saturday there was lots of noise until 4am due to the nearby bars being open until early hours

Excellent location, we were able to drop our luggage off and wander the city, Pepe was excellent thank you

The apartment was very comfortable and had everything we needed including a washing machine. Our host was excellent and gave us some very good recommendations for the area. There is plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby and it’s only a 10 min walk to the beach.

The local area has loads of graffiti but that seemed to be the norm for that area and didn’t detract from the comfort of the property itself.

The location, there’s an elevator and it’s a spacious apartment.

1. The A/C was weak 2. The Wifi was really bad (most of the times it was not working) 3. There was a laundry machine but not detergent. 4. There was not dish soap (we found the plates/glasses) were a bit dirty 5. We were asked to pay in cash or bank transfer to their personal account, which is strange because it sounds like a scam, Also, once we arrived, he said the money had to be transferred right away in order to get the keys. We had to take money out of the ATM so we asked where we could find one but he was not willing to help at all. Also, he said -in an annoying way- that we could have asked for his bank account before we arrived to transfer the money in advance (but who would do that, since it could be a scam). Finally, he gave us a simple receipt, which makes me think he wanted the money in black. It gave us a weird feeling so we couldn’t find another place at that moment, so we had to accept their terms, which is not a good way to start your vacations.
