Casa Lucia the most beautiful views sea and city

Mieszkanie jest idealne: na piętrze pokój z dużym 2 osobowym łożkiem, łazienka i taras z widokiem na miasto, morze i górę z zamkiem Santa Barbara; na dole pokój z kanapą przystosowaną do spania 2 osób, stół przy oknie z przepięknym widokiem, łazienka o kuchnia ze wszystkimi sprzętami- lodówką, pralką, zmywarką do naczyń, płytą indukcyjną, mikrofalówką, czajnikiem itd. Właścicielka mieszkania jest cudownym człowiekiem. Na każdą prośbę reagowała od razu. Opiekowała się nami przez telefon, rozmawiała z taksówkarzem po hiszpańsku aby dowiózł nas jak najbliżej adresu. Dziękujemy! Należy pamiętać, że dojście do mieszkania jest pod górkę + schody. Ale piękny widok i lokalizacja są najważniejsze. Byliśmy 4 osobową rodziną: 2 dzieci i osoba niewidoma - wszyscy daliśmy radę. Bardzo polecamy! ♡

Simple but good

Some places are simply somewhere you stay. Others become part of your trip. This little duplex in Santa Cruz was definitely the second kind. Every morning began with the same ritual: opening the terrace door, stepping outside with a coffee in hand, and looking out over a view so beautiful it almost didn't seem real. The rooftops of the old town, the castle watching over the city, the sea in the distance... it was the kind of view that makes you linger a little longer and forget whatever plans you had for the day. Santa Cruz itself feels like a small village hidden inside Alicante. White houses, flower-filled streets, winding staircases, and that special atmosphere that makes you slow down and enjoy the moment. Just a few minutes away, the market offered fresh local products, and one of our favorite evenings was spent cooking seafood on the terrace, enjoying the warm air and the lights of the city below. The apartment had everything we needed to feel at home: a well-equipped kitchen, excellent air conditioning (which became our best friend during the hottest hours), two bathrooms, and thoughtful details throughout. And then there was Paula, the kind of host who makes everything feel easy. Her instructions were so detailed that arriving was effortless, and whenever we had a question, she was quick to help. A week later, what I remember most isn't just the apartment itself. It's the mornings on the terrace, the sunsets over the city, the sound of life drifting up from the old town below, and that rare feeling that for a little while, you weren't just visiting Alicante—you were living there. And really, isn't that what we're all looking for when we travel?

There is very little to complain about, but a few things are worth mentioning for future guests. The bed was perhaps a little small for taller people. At 1.84 m, I found it just about long enough, although it was very comfortable and the pillows were excellent. Unless you're particularly tall, it is unlikely to be an issue, but it may be worth noting. The Wi-Fi connection was occasionally unstable during our stay. We experienced a few interruptions while trying to stream some World Cup matches. Whether this was related to the internet provider at the time or the apartment's connection, I cannot say, but it was not a major issue for us. The most important point is not really a negative one, but rather something future visitors should be aware of. Santa Cruz is one of Alicante's most beautiful neighborhoods, but beauty comes at a price: elevation. The apartment is located high above the city, and while this is exactly what creates those spectacular views, it also means that getting home involves a climb. Whether you choose the picturesque stairways or the steep streets, there is a bit of uphill walking every day. For us, this was absolutely worth it. In fact, the location and the views are precisely what made this stay so special. However, if mobility is a concern or if you are not comfortable with hills and stairs, I would recommend taking a quick look at the neighborhood on Google Maps before booking, just so you know what to expect. Other than that, we genuinely struggled to find any real negatives. The advantages of staying here far outweigh these minor points, and we would happily stay again.
