The best experience

Excellent location, very clean apartments. The shared kitchen has everything you need. The view is astonishing — and the terrace, oh my gosh! It offers the best view in the city. The owner could easily charge an extra €50 just for that view 😀 — but you can enjoy it for free and even have your meals there. The owner is a great man, very helpful, and gave us lots of useful information about the city, including recommendations on where to eat and what to see.

Giuseppe couldn't do enough. Lovely rooftop terrace with great views. Great location. Near to the old town and port but nice and quiet.

The stairwell was scruffy in places if you didn't use the lift.

city break in Genoa.

Location is excellent, lots of restaurants very near, Porto Antico which has bars and restaurants, boat trips and the aquarium are all just across the road 3 minute walk away, if you come out of the rooms and turn right you are just minutes away from many bars and restuarants. Rooms have everything you would need in them including a small fridge with water and drinks already in it, netflix also. The owner was also very informative and kept in touch by whatsapp and gave us help with directions, places to go etc.

Great location, good size room.

I loved the location of this b&b, immediately opposite the waterfront, with an affordable public parking lot just 500 m away. There are many shops and restaurants in the area, and the center of Genoa is only short walk away. Our room was on the 8th floor, I am pleased to say there's an elevator. Our host, Giuseppe, was very friendly and helpful, communication through WhatsApp made contact easy.

While the room size was good, the bathroom, although modern and functional, is cramped. I also felt that there could have been more hooks and shelves to stow our stuff, particularly in the bathroom where a few hooks for towels and nightshirts etc. would have been useful.

The location is good and it is near to city center.It takes 10 mins approx.

Well it was below my expectations. The room was too small for two people and it was a bit dusty. Especially the shower cabin was not clean and the towels smelled of moisture. Thank God we took towels with us.It was not as it is written in the comments. Besides the elevator was a bit scary.Once we were stuck in elevator.The door did not open we chose first floor and finally it opened.The apartment is on the eighth floor but it feels you are on the ground floor because it smells dampness.

Lovely location viewing the port, brilliant rooftop terrace! Super comfy bed and clean room.

The terrace is shared by three rooms just to be aware it is not totally private although we did have one evening with it just to ourselves.

Good sized clean rooms on the top floor of an apartment block served by quite a small lift (floor 8 apartment containing 3 rentable rooms). The room had excellent air con, ensuite bathroom with toiletries and handily a small safe....there's also Netflix if such a person exists that might prefer TV to Genoa. Whilst our room was the one with a "courtyard" view that was arms length from the apartment block opposite we could still actually see the sea which was a nice surprise. Having caught a glimpse in the other rooms their views of the port are amazing. The accommodation is ideally placed a few minutes walk from the port and the old town, I'd not appreciated until arriving there how well positioned it was for both. The double glazing is an equal match to the noise of the busy road that you'll see on Google maps/streetview, making it a very restful stay. There are some steep stairs to climb to get to the breakfast room and then up to the small roof terrace. You need a bit of a head for heights for the terrace but I can't imagine there is a better view of the old town and the port anywhere in Genoa. It's simply stunning. If you choose to take breakfast there's one table for 4 (plus a small Foldable table) so rooms eat at different times. Breakfast is very good with fantastic cappuccino. Giuseppe catered well for my Gluten free breakfast needs. He was also very helpful with ideas for restaurants and getting around to see the sights, including suggesting visiting Genoa Nervi on the 100 minute €1.60 metro ticket, a welcome and relaxing seaside town after the bustling crowds of Cinque Terre. Rest assured Giuseppe does all this without being in your face all the time which is perfect. Would we stop here again? Yes definitely.

Great stay, anytime again

Very nice owner of the hotel. Contacted us already a day before via WhatsApp. Helped us wonderful finding the hotel entrance. Super Service. He always made sure we have everything we need. Was always just a WhatsApp message away. Located perfectly in the center of all activities and the inner city is just a few minutes away. Beds are very comfortable. AC in the room.
