Umah Sunset

Had everything we needed for our stay, well equipped, pool was so nice after a day exploring the area. Staff and owner Ngakan were amazing they were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast each day was brilliant having the guys come to our kitchen and cook. I recommend getting dinner in house one night the food was exceptional and great value. The two ladies that came to cook were authentic Balinese women and so happy and friendly. Ngakan also organised us a driver who was safe clean and very very helpful. Nothing was a hassle at all. The bebek restaurant down the road was lovely for a meal also. Beds were very comfy and the outdoor showers were a trendy addition to the villa. Set up perfectly for two couples or a family of 4. We gazed over rice paddy’s and watched the workers each morning and afternoon. Washing machine and dryer was so handy to clean our clothes before leaving.

Nothing, except we had to leave! 3 nights was good but I think 4-5 would be great!

The pool , the view .

Look like it getting old and most thing are falling apart, the master bed door, the laundry door , the kitchen door are stuck . They need to maintain it better , its beautiful property . Need also clean better , the deck by the pool have alot bird poop. The kitchen needs to be clean. The bath tub have some crack and have alot of ants.

We stayed at Umah Sunset Villa with my husband and toddler and it was an absolute gem. The villa is about 15 minutes from Ubud's city centre, close enough to explore, but far enough to feel completely away from it all, surrounded by stunning rice field views. The highlight for us was the infinity pool at sunset. The colours over the fields were breathtaking and we found ourselves there every evening without fail. The villa itself is spotlessly clean and beautifully maintained, which is exactly what you want when travelling with a little one. The staff were genuinely warm and attentive without being intrusive, and that made such a difference. Travelling with a toddler can be unpredictable, but the relaxed atmosphere and thoughtful service made everything feel easy and stress-free. If you are looking for a peaceful, beautiful base in Bali, especially as a family, this is it. We would come back in a heartbeat.
