Thani Villa Ubud

We loved Thani Villa. The property is great, set in a beautiful location between rice fields and jungle, with a beautiful spring and waterfall. The view into the jungle is mind blowing! Also loved the sounds of nature all around. The host, Sentana, was what made it best. You can really tell hospitality is his passion, and he’s such a kind and considerate man in general, with so much knowledge to share. He was incredibly accommodating, and offers great day trips, and can even drop you off in Ubud. On top of that, his wife cooks delicious breakfast.

The pillows looked a little mouldy and the sheets of the canopy smelt a bit like it too, but this might not be avoidable given it’s all open air and the humid climate.

This was one of the best stays I have ever had and we were sad to leave. Hidden among the rice paddies and lush jungle, away from the touristy throng of Ubud centre, it felt like a much more real experience of Balinese life. The owner Sentana is extremely kind, friendly and thoughtful and it was a privilege to meet him and to be shown around his local area by him. His wife is also a fabulous cook and we ate breakfast and dinner at the villa every day. I wholeheartedly recommend staying there.

It was a great experience ! Everything was clean , the view outside was beautiful and the staff was just wonderful..Santana (the owner) is really available not only for ensuring a very good service but also to help organising everything during our stay there !

It was a perfect honeymoon stay. When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised to see that the whole place was ours for the next few days! Sentana was the perfect host. He was waiting for us to arrive, showed us everything, and explained everything we needed for the stay. He was also passionate about architecture and art, and we had many great chats together. The location was a little far from the hustle and bustle of Ubud, but that was exactly why we loved it. We could easily rent a bike from Sentana, and his wife even provided extra meals (breakfast is free) for us at a very reasonable price, and all the meals were so delicious! The space was incredibly beautiful, tranquil, and clean. And even in the rain, the private pool was nice. We cannot recommend this place enough. We loved it!

It's impossible to find any fault with this place. Definitely our most memorable time in Bali, and one of the best places we've stayed in in our lives.

The villa is even nicer than the description suggests and the owner is super friendly and helps with all needs like scooter rental etc. Breakfast and dinner are delivered to the villa and are both excellent.

This is an absolute GEM of a little Villa in Bali ! Set in a beautiful garden.....and with a great sized pool, it got the sun all morning so it was perfect for sunbathing before we headed out exploring Ubud. The outdoor bathroom and shower set amidst the jungle plants was sooo fun to use, especially at night listening to all the frogs and animal sounds at dusk ! It was a light,airy space with excellent cooling system...............and the high ceilings made it feel even more spacious. Our host,Santana , was such a lovely lovely man, so welcoming and kind ! He arranged our scooter hire and gave us great advice of where to go in the local area........the breakfasts were delicious and set out so beautifully on our Veranda......details like this really made us feel special !! I would highly recommend staying here......the atmosphere was sooo lovely. Five stars all round !

Wow! I loved every minute of my time at Thani Villa. Its location in a small village surrounded by rice fields was the perfect place for me to relax. Sentana and his staff are excellent. Any time you need something you just need to ask. Sentana can drive you to and from Ubud and he even woke up extra early to deliver my breakfast before my morning ferry. The pool and garden is well cared for. I hope to stay again soon. You won't regret booking here.

De lokatie van de villa midden in de jungle en de villa zelf. De eigenaar was echt top!

Eigenlijk niets. Het lag wel ver van Ubud maar de eigenaar wil je voor een klein bedrag heen en weer brengen.

Thani Villa er beliggende trukket tilbage fra Ubud centrums larm og mange biler, i en rolig landsby ude blandt smukke rismarker. hvilket betød at junglen var vores baghave. Vores ophold var afslappende og helt fantastisk med en enestående oplevelse af at være i et med naturen. Vidunderlig udsigt fra villaen med de to soveværelser. Vi havde vores eget vandfald i baghaven - en skjult forfriskende perle. Her var stille, blot naturens lyde, hvilket var fantastisk og dejligt afslappende. Værten er meget sød, gæstfri og imødekommende. Han hjalp med at arrangere ture, hans kone lavede den dejligste aftensmad (man kunne tilkøbe), han kom også ind og hentede os i Ubud centrum efter at vi havde været inde og spise aftensmad (han tilbød selv). Værten var også god til at fortælle om Balis historie og fortalte en masse om rismarkerne og farmernes arbejde og betingelser - det var meget spændende fortællinger. Han inviterede os også over til hans villa og viste os rundt samt i hans have og fortalte en masse om alle planterne, frugterne og grøntsagerne, det var meget interessant. Stor anbefaling fra os Vælg Thani Villa hvis du ønsker et roligt og tilbagetrukket ophold i Ubud, og du vil ikke fortryde det!

De rust en ruimte was geweldig! Hele unieke locatie. Het ontbijt werd gebracht en was lekker! De service was geweldig. We mochten gebruik maken van het zwembad bij de andere accommodatie. We zaten in de accommodatie zonder zwembad of airconditioning. De accommodatie met airco en zwembad heeft maar 1 bed. Hier moet je wel even rekening mee houden als je gaat boeken als gezin. We hebben hele goede herinneringen aan deze accommodatie vanwege de unieke ligging tussen de rijstvelden. En op loopafstand van van een dorpje.

Ik vond het matras een beetje te zacht. Geur van afval verbranding in de nacht vond ik vervelend. Maar dat heeft verder weinig met deze accommodatie te maken!

Wat een geweldige plek is dít. Echt een paradijsje tussen de rijstvelden bij een klein, vredig dorpje in het noorden van Ubud. Vanuit de open living heb je een droomuitzicht op de gigantische tropische tuin met beneden een eigen waterval en vuurvliegjes die ‘s nachts de tuin verlichten. Hier wil je eigenlijk niet meer weg. Je hoeft in principe de deur niet uit. Elke ochtend brengt de owner een heerlijk ontbijt en als je wilt kun je voor ‘s avonds een maaltijd bestellen. Wat een feest! We hebben genoten!

Ehhh echt helemaal niets. Het is wel slim om even goed te kijken welke van de twee villa’s je boekt. De kleinere villa (ook geweldig) heeft een privé zwembadje en ligt aan de andere kant van de straat. Deze grote villa niet. Maar dat hebben absoluut niet gemist. Het is wel wat onduidelijk wat je precies boekt.

Suasana sekitar yang tenang, fasilatas ok, staf dan pemilik yg ramah membuat nyaman untuk tinggal.
