Good accommodation but didn't appreciate the noise from the late bar next door
Good size room with great view of the river. Modern en-suite with sufficient space and a good size shower.
The Courtyard was fine but for me the huge problem was being next to a bar with a late license - 1am on weekends. The constant thump thump thump of music kept me awake and then lots of loud voices and shouting at closing time. Then they jumped in their cars which had been parked along Severnside on the double yellow lines and went roaring off down the 20mph street with loud exhausts. Such a shame because it meant it wasn't a relaxing weekend at all.

Good for one night in town centre
Great location for nightlife, next to the river and above restaurants/ bar.
Staff were very helpful.
Comfy bed and good shower.
Only 1 pillow per person which wasn’t ideal.
Bathroom was a bit smelly when we arrived so had to open the window (December) which improved it.
Couldn’t alter the heating.
Some things could do with some TLC but overall good stay for one night.

We stayed on a Saturday night, ideal location, great price, nice enough room, breakfast was lovely (extra cost, not included)
Bit small, but that was ok with us, no iron (not ideal as needed to iron clothes to go out in) We asked the staff and was told they dont have one at all. who has a b and b and doesn't supply an iron?? Heating was an issue, when we checked in at 4pm it was cold in the room, we asked how to turn heating on and was told its on a timer and will come on later. so we had no control over when the heating was on or off. So was cold till we went out, was cold when we returned from our night out and only got warm early in the morning. not ideal. Also only 1 pillow per person , personally I need 2 pillows as they where not that plump, please supply 1 pillows per person

The bed was comfy the room was clean and a beautiful view.
We had no hot water from 5pm and still had no hot water when we were leaving the next morning. My sister and her husband had room 2 we were in room 1 none of us had hot water from 5. Not good enough when there's no one to contact either.

Clean/comfy & Convenient for West Mids Safari park - be aware of the evening noise.
I booked here as it’s only 10mins away from West Midlands Safari Park.
The room was clean, there is lots of tea/coffee provided.
Clean towels are provided as well as shampoo/conditioner/shower gel & a hairdryer.
Bed is comfortable. There is a Tv in the room with freeview.
The location is riverside which is lovely and you can sit out for food/drinks.
There is no onsite parking - but there is a car park about a 3min walk away. It’s £8.00 for 24hrs or £2.00 if you park between 6pm & 8am. Download the MiPermit app before arrival for convenience.
The noise. Maybe I should have done more research but the rooms are above a pub/restaurant . I stayed here with my 4yr old on Wednesday evening before our trip to the safari park . There was shouting from the bar next door till 10.30/11pm followed by loud music from local boy racers that were parked outside chatting/shouting. I couldn’t open the windows because of this so it turned out to be a very warm/uncomfortable night! A fan is provided in the room however it sounded like it may take off at any moment so was no help.
Thursday morning turns out to also be local bin day….. so at 6.30am the sound of crashing glass bottles was our wake up call.
Definitely something to consider if you are travelling with children or you’re hoping for an early night or lazy morning.

Poor Experience – Would Not Return
Position was good, a little noisy at night though.
We had a very disappointing stay at this hotel and felt compelled to share our experience.
When we arrived, we were given a room that had clearly not been cleaned. The bedsheets were pulled back, there was hair on the duvet, the pillows were messy, towels were left on the bathroom floor, and even the toilet hadn’t been flushed. While the staff did move us to a different room after we raised the issue, it was a concerning first impression.
Unfortunately, their poor communication was exposed again the next morning, around 8:15 AM, a cleaner entered our room without knocking while my partner had just stepped out of the shower. This was a serious breach of privacy and made us feel extremely uncomfortable. To make matters worse, the cleaner questioned whether we were supposed to be in the room at all, adding to the confusion and frustration.
Even after that, we were made to feel pressured to leave the room well before the 11:00 AM checkout time. The cleaner returned yet again to ask if we had returned the key, while my partner was already waiting outside.
These repeated intrusions and the general lack of professionalism made us question the standards and, coupled with the lack of reply to our concerns via email, this really was a dissatisfying experience.
Overall, our stay was uncomfortable and stressful, and we would not stay here again. I would not recommend this hotel based on our experience.

In fairness, the rooms, situated in a different part of the building,were a little dissapointing, looked as if they hadn't been cleaned, dust on the radiators, a lot of dust within the shower room area, shower was a bit unpredictable, hard to adjust temperature, but, the views were lovely, looking out over the River Severn, so this did make up for the slightly uncleanliness

A central place to stay in Bewdley
It is in the centre of Bewdley. Very close to the shops and bars. You can have your breakfast outside sitting by the river, weather permitting.
Steep stairs, we were in room 5, which was a very pleasant room. Narrow corridor to the room, window overlooking the Retreat bar, so be prepared for noise. Take some earplugs, if you want to go to sleep earlier than 11.30.
Also no internet access in our room.

The shower was difficult to adjust & far too hot for comfort.
I was getting ready for a wedding & it was unbearably hot, really struggled to rinse hair off due to the temperature. I have reported this so hope it gets fixed.
Maintenance issues need fixing such as cracked window & dusty areas.
