Proprietor lets the house to contractors which is a different market to tourists.

No terrestrial TV / No wifi instructions / No microwaveable plates bowls / old fashioned cutlery/plates / Welcome instructions were abrupt verging on rude I.e. charges for towels / charges for dirty washing up left. Very traumatic experience with having to pay £250 security deposit which took 4 days to receive back not acceptable. Have never been charged such a large security deposit before left a nasty experience when all you want to do is have a nice holiday.

Great spot for a big family or group of friends in Bewdley

Great location, near the river and the centre of town, with easy access to free parking 2 minutes walk away It was nicely furnished, well equipped with eg coffee machine, microwave, airfryer etc and basics like milk and coffee beans were provided.

Lovely house, near to the river, clean and tidy. Had everything we needed. Loved the duck and swan ornaments too!

It was very hot weather, glad there were fans provided but we couldn’t easily open windows to help increase air flow.

Lovely comfortable cottage

Very comfortable. Good quality furnishings. Very comfortable beds. Easy to use appliances and lots of nice thoughtful touches. We didn't want for anything and it was a lovely place to relax.

Not being able to park outside the property was a pain but the host provided much valued help for where to park.

Great location, clean and a bargain!

Really well located for a stroll into town, very friendly and helpful host, very clean, the fresh ground coffee from bean machine was a real bonus for the coffee lovers among our group. Parking was on the street wasn’t a problem at all, two of us found spaces right outside and the third just up the road. Would thoroughly recommend a visit.

There was nothing not to like for our stay, we were five friends from school catching up for the weekend.

An upper class experiece in a quanit town in the heart of the Severn Valley.

The venue is located in a beautiful and quiet pocket of Bewdley, away from a main road and as such is lovely and quiet. It's a short walk to a few pubs and the Co-Op and only a few minutes walk across the bridge to the town itself. The house is very spacious and well furnished and highly comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need as well as space, the bedrooms and large and the beds are ultra comfy and warm. It took us a shot while to find the heating (boiler is in the laundry on the 1st floor) but once located the house was nice and warm in no time. Joanne is the perfect hostess and was in constant communication with me leading up to our stay, which was wonderful. If you're looking for a touch of class in this beautiful town, then this is the place to stay!

The only issue was working out which internet service the wifi password for for, as that wasn't written down. Other than that, it was perfect!

Still waiting for my £250 deposit after a month.

Communication with the owner was non existent. We had elderly people in our party and despite paying the safety deposit in the time stipulated we didn't receive the key code by email as promised and I had to call the owner.

Good location. Beware of unsecured £250 deposit!

The location was great and initial communication was good.

The owner requires £250 to be transferred into her account as a deposit. This is unsecured and as the guest you have no recourse if there were to be a dispute. It is mentioned on the listing but not that it is just a bank transfer. It made the one night stay quite stressful. The refund is due back after a week which also feels slightly unnecessary given that it is just a bank transfer. We contacted the owner a few times during the week following our departure and she stopped responding which was concerning. She sent the money back a little over a week later and said that the messaging system was down. It's not the end of the world but just beware of this if booking.

Beautifully decorated, comfortable, clean and well kept property close to the river and Bewdley centre with easy access to local sightseeing areas and luxurious bedrooms.

When booking it does not make it clear that you have to provide an additional £250 deposit and that you need to provide your bank details to the host to get the deposit back. This information is not given automatically- I had to ask about it. In addition please be aware there is not free parking on site. There are a small number of nearby on-road parking spots which appear to be used by other residents, so it is likely to be difficult to find somewhere to park. (There are double yellow lines directly outside the property).

Perfect house in an ideal location

The house was lovely, very well put together, clean, warm and welcoming. It is in a perfect location in Bewdley, this is my first time visiting this area and I have fallen in love with the charm of it. I had a great night sleep, the beds and pillows are comfy and the towels lovely and soft. There is information in the house with recommendations, we had a lovely Indian and then we popped into the pub on the way home where they had a live band. The locals were friendly and welcoming.
