The best of Salzburg hospitality with the quaintest, peaceful suburban experience.

Extremely helpful and thoughtful hosts, very accommodating and went out of their way to secure public transport pass as well as detailed instructions for the commute. The hosts kept the umbrellas for each guest for the rainy day and it kept us safe and sound. The bakery next door was the bonus. The welcome chocolates added to the sweetness! And the cutest Halloween decorations added for the charm.

A peaceful neighborhood, fairytale-like nature, and a wonderful city were waiting for us.

A very charming apartment, with a comfortable bed and well-equipped facilities awaited us. The view of the high mountains from the balcony was magnificent. We reached the city center in just a few minutes by public transport. The air was clean and the neighborhood was peaceful. The hosts were kind and welcoming. I hope we can come back another time — we enjoyed every single minute of our vacation.

Very close to the bus station, the traffic is convenient. The room is big, and there is a balcony with a view

Although kitchen equipment is provided, the quick-boiler and toaster are not cleaned at all and are very dirty. I have to buy detergent and clean the quick-boiler myself, and the toaster is afraid to use it.

Great apartment with everything provided. We really enjoyed our stay. Bus stop was really close providing easy access to city centre.

No grocery shopping or dining options close by. Apart from that, nothing, everything was perfect.

Don't Miss the Chance to Stay!

This was a fabulous stay. On the bus route to Salzburg city. A day ticket is about 4 euro bought online or 6 euro from the driver. The view is stunning of the mountains with a balcony and chairs. The host was excellent - easily contactable and helpful. Everything was available - dressing gowns in the wardrobe, spare towels, loo rolls, washing machine, a rack with tourist info, umbrellas. Thermostat on the wall adjusts to maintain the room temperature. The bathroom has a gorgeous large walk in shower. The whole place is beautifully refurbished. There is a lovely village charcuterie (Der Mache Salzburg Gourmet) and cheese shop 2 mins walk great for an Austrian breakfast. Parking easily available. Really close to the airport.

Just make sure you check the drawers if you can't find something. For example the kettle and toaster are tucked away neatly in the bottom drawer of the kitchen. Bring waterproof shoes - Austria rains a lot! The umbrellas provided were a Godsend. To find the apartment as you go from Salzburg city on Moosstraße it is the left turn over a tiny bridge with a big burgundy signpost saying Kal's apartments. The apartment is above the main building up some sidesteps on the right hand side of the building next to the driveway. Our food delivery cyclist had a bit of trouble finding the side steps.

Modern & clean apartment in a safe neighbourhood. Superb!

Apartment was exactly as described, and looked even better in person. Spotlessly clean with modern furnishings, fully equipped kitchen, spacious bathroom and comfortable beds. Bath towels provided. Hosts were responsive and easy to communicate with. Located in a quiet, safe suburban neighbourhood. A short 15 minute bus ride to the city centre on Bus 21 (bus stop is located just a few metres away from the apartment). If coming from the central train station, you'd have to take Bus 1 then change to Bus 21. Overall we had a very pleasant stay here. Highly recommended!

Not many shops (food options) in the immediate vicinity. There is 1 bakery & 1 butcher down the road but do take note that they only open on Tues-Friday.

PERFECT APARTMENT!!! MODERN, WARM, FRIENDLY OWNER

Overall this might be the BEST apartment we've ever stay!!! - Friendly female owner showing us everything during check in - Room is spacious enough for 2 people with a balcony and home feeling decoration. - Kitchen is well equipped and tidy. - Bed is spacious too with excellent size of wardrobe - Modern and warm setup in the room. *** No doubt to stay there again when we travel to Salzburg next time ***

Too difficult to pick one thing we do not like... probably the location for non-driver? On the street not too far away there will be a bus stop to the town centre. If you drive there will be no problem at all.

Ottima soluzione per soggiornare nell'immediata periferia di Salisburgo

L'appartamento è pulito, caldo, luminoso, confortevole e dotato di tutto il necessario (stoviglie, bollitore, tostapane, forno a microonde, lavatrice, stendibiancheria). Parcheggio per l'auto comodissimo proprio sotto casa e a 100 metri c'è la fermata dell'autobus che passa ogni 15 minuti e ti porta direttamente in e dal centro fino a tarda ora. Non abbiamo incontrato i proprietari ma hanno sempre risposto alle nostre mail e nell'appartamento hanno lasciato indicazioni precise per autobus, negozi, ristoranti ed attrazioni. Un soggiorno davvero apprezzato!

Unica pecca, che non vuole essere una critica ma solo un suggerimento, è la doccia dalla quale fuoriesce l'acqua mentre ci si lava perchè non è chiusa davanti.

Gute Lage mit Potential zur Verbesserung

Die Lage war gut und es waren nur wenige Minuten bis zur Bushaltestelle. In der Nähe gibt es sowohl einen Bäcker und Metzger, als auch ein hervorragendes Frühstückscafé. Die Räumlichkeiten und das Badezimmer waren sauber.

Die Gastgeberin war freundlich, aber sparsam mit Worten, obwohl die Schlüsselübergabe persönlich erfolgte. Nach einigen Fragen unsererseits, fühlten wir uns nicht weiter animiert, sie in ein Gespräch zu verwickeln. Daher hatten wir auch wenig Interesse daran, unsere Verbesserungsvorschläge persönlich vorzutragen. Die Küchenzeile hat kein Ceranfeld (wie angegeben), vielmehr ein Edelstahlkochfeld mit zwei herkömmlichen Kochplatten. Wer selbst kochen möchte, benötigt Geduld, bis die Kochplatten auf Betriebstemperatur kommen. Die Pfannen sind nicht nutzbar, da total verkratzt. Da waren offenbar die vorherigen Gäste nicht sorgsam mit umgegangen. Eine Erneuerung mit einem Hinweis zur sachgemäßen Benutzung wäre angemessen. Den Wasserkocher haben wir lieber nicht benutzt. In einer vorherigen Rezension wurde bereits auf seinen Zustand hingewiesen. Wer das Geschirr nicht sauber im Schrank hinterlässt, ist verpflichtet, eine Reinigungsgebühr von 30 Euro zu zahlen. Das ist sehr in Ordnung! Der Zustand des Geschirrs sollte dann aber auch kontrolliert werden. Wir haben Essensreste auf den Tellern gefunden und haben daher das von uns genutzte Geschirr lieber vor Benutzung gründlich abgewaschen. In Zeiten von Corona und generell aus hygienischen Gründen wäre es schön, wenn die Gastgeberin das Geschirr einmal komplett im sicher privat vorhandenen Geschirrspüler reinigen würde, da die Küchenzeile über keinen Geschirrspüler verfügt.

Studio pratique pour découvrir Salzburg et sa région

Grand studio spacieux, lumineux, moderne, bien équipé. Grand balcon. Proximité des transports (bus 21) pour rejoindre le centre de Salzburg en 10 minutes. (3€ le trajet) Une bouteille d'eau et du chocolat à notre arrivée, sympathique attention.

L'appartement est situé à proximité d'une rue assez passante, donc nous n'avons pas vraiment utilisé le balcon car bruyant. Fenêtres fermées, bruit atténué. Pas de volet, ni rideau occultant... Nous n'avons pas vu les propriétaires. Ceci dit très disponible par messages.
