Our stay in Salzburg could not have been better! Christine's property worked so well as a base for all our adventures. Christine was a wonderful host. She communicated and instructed us about the amenities of the property, where to shop, which bus stop to utilize for our trip to Eagle's Nest and use of the closest pedestrian bridge. We walked everywhere and explored everything! Her location right next to the Salzach River allowed us to visit key attractions including the historic Old Town (Altstadt), Hohensalzburg Fortress, and Mirabell Palace. My lifelong dream was to take the tour related to the filming locations of "The Sound of Music". I loved it! Our visit was everything I had hoped for!We cooked breakfast each morning before our adventures which was a money saver. The fridge was great for beverages and the washing machine was clutch, as this destination was in the middle of a 30 day trip. There is no dryer, so we simply hung our clothes to dry.We would not hesitate to return to this property! We thank Christine for her "house"potality and recommendations! Our time in Salzburg was memorable and fun!

Pros: Christine is an excellent host who went out of her way to assist us (e.g., permitted us to check in early, helped navigate a cancelled train situation, etc). The unit was large and we appreciated the ability to wash some clothes in her unit. We also appreciated the location which was convenient to everything we wanted to do.Cons: the unit was not as clean as we had hoped. Nothing terrible, but there were a few areas that needed to be cleaned better. Also, it was warm when we stayed so we slept with the windows open. The unit has some bars and clubs nearby so it was loud well into the night and early morning. It's possible that the noise would have been manageable with the windows closed, but we needed the breeze since the unit does not have AC.The price is reasonable, so if noise isn't a factor for you, then this is a convenient and large unit for your trip with a responsive host!

This property was beautiful and located on the side of a mountain. The interior of the property was well decorated and comfortable. It is within walking distance from every major attraction in Salsburg as well the eating district. The host was a very sweet lady who was very accommodating and hospitable.

Apartment was well equipped. Christine (the owner) met us at the apartment. She was very helpful and gave us information along with a couple of recommendations for eating out. Apartment is within easy walking distance of the Alt Stadt and just across from the river Salzbach.

Fantastic location for old town and Christmas markets. Also close to bridges to cross river. Less than 5 minutes walk to supermarket. Easy check in with host greeting us. Handy to also have washing machine available. Highly recommend.

Apartment is spacious, very clean and well equipped. It's situated in a heart of Salzburg and all major attractions are within walking distance. Public transport stops are within 5 minutes walks that includes bus #10 to/from airport. Christine is a great host and all communications were great.

The location was ideal for exploring old Salzburg - a short walk to everything: historical sites, restaurants, shopping, cafes and the opera. We come from a rural area, so the only noise at night are frogs and insects. The apartment is just above a pub and just down the street from several more which meant there was revelry till sometimes 1 - 2AM. We could close the windows, however, that shut out the fresh air. Although we didn't cook while there, the kitchen seemed to be well equipped, the beds and pillows very comfortable. We would stay here again on a future trip to Salzburg due to convenient location.

The apartment was very clean and well stocked. It is the perfect size for a couple. The host checked us in herself and gave us tips on where to eat, shop and catch the local bus, It is in a great location in a very quiet neighborhood. Public transport, restaurants and grocery store are near by. It is just a short walk to Old Town. You won't go wrong with booking this one. We would stay here again.

We could not have asked for more. The location was perfect, few minutes walk from the city center. The place was exactly as described with all necessary amenities. It was clean quiet. Our host was friendly and provided us with locations to visits. It was a wonderful vacation.

An easy walk up one flight of stairs to this studio apartment with kitchen. Located just across the street from the Salzach river and right next to a nice old church. Several quaint little pubs and cafés on the street for a nightcap on the 12 or so minute walk back from the main center of Salzburg's alt stadt, cathedral, museums, and the main shopping promenade. I never once had to use public transportation. Christine (My host) was very easy to work with on the front side, at arrival, and throughout my stay. A great place for couples. I would certainly stay at this property, again. 🙂

We had a great holiday in Salzburg. Christina's apartment suited us well. Cooking facility was good, bathroom good, clean. Position is excellent for exploring the old town. A manageable walk to the railway station also a short walk to the pick up point for Panorama Tours should you wish to trip out. Bus stop close by to visit Hellbrunn Palace. We were supplied with clean towels midweek. The bottle of wine on arrival was welcome. Christina was prompt in response to our request for bus info from the Airport etc so all went as smooth as clock work. Many thanks for all your help Anne and Martin

There are so many reasons this is a great place to stay in Salzburg: *The host Christine was a great communicator, well organized, and super helpful *The location was excellent-right by a beautiful river walk, very near restaurants and grocery, and a short walk to the heart of old town *a fun beer garden close by We would definitely rent here again. I highly recommend it.

Close (walking distance) to all attractions in old town. Very helpful host who had provided lots of useful information on visiting town and surrounding. Spacious and well equipped kitchen. Easy check in and out. The only concern was night noise from open air pubs and drink bars located around during weekend but not week day (you can eliminate noise by closing window)

We loved being here. The location is ideal. We walked to everything we wanted to do in Salzburg. Restaurants, bars, grocery stores all nearby. The apartment is cozy and was really perfect for the two of us. The bed was sooo comfortable. Christine is a sweetheart. She was incredibly helpful in sharing best things to do. She also gave us bus info and suggestions on visiting lakes out of town. We would stay there again. Definitely recommend.

Yes there are stairs but this is Europe. Christine was fabulous, met us there. No problems, great location. Note: there are some street cafes and it does get noisy but we were able to tune it out and it doesn’t seem to go on too late. But if you need 100% quiet you should be aware. Oh - there’s a washing machine!, I will definitely return

We loved our stay. The apartment was clean and the location is right on the river. A few blocks to the oldest bakery in Salzburg for morning pastries. Great jumping off point to walk the city. 20 minutes to to Augustinian brewery. Who could ask for more?

This is a really nice place to stay, and so convenient to the old city. Christine was very helpful and accommodating, even going the extra step to secure me a taxi for an early morning flight.
