Central Apartment in Salzburg's Old Town, Ursulines 1

This apartment is right on the edge of the old town and only 12 minutes walk from Salzburg Muellin Alt train station. The studio apartment was spacious and comfortable with all that I needed including a well equipped kitchen. Christine was a warm, gracious and responsive host and I would recommend this stay to others.

Christine was very helpful. She was tgere whe we arrived gave us alot of info4. She .ade sure we got the taxi when we left and also right train station. Lo carion was in the old city, which we loved.

Great location, by bus, fortress, grocery store. Clean, everything we needed after a week of train traveling, including a washing machine. Hostess let us check in a little early, when our train arrived, and greeted us at the apartment. She even had a cute little bottle of wine to welcome us.

Christine was lovely and helpful. The apartment had a nice little kitchen and sitting area. Parking was only free from 7pm-9am and we needed to be parked by 7pm and gone by 9am. This helped since parking in Salzberg is expensive and hard to find.

The location of this property can’t be beat. Easily walked to all the sites in Salzburg. Took the bus to a few on the outskirts. Get the Salzburg card. It’s worth it. Christine our host was waiting for us when we arrived. Let us in the apartment, showed us where the attractions were on a map she gave us and even had chocolates for us. There are many bars in the area so it can be loud at night but after a full day of site seeing I really didn’t have trouble sleeping. Apartment was clean and well equipped. We didn’t cook. Only made breakfast and coffee. On our departure our host even called us a cab as the one we booked didn’t show up. Highly recommend this location and this host.

The location of this apartment was perfect for sightseeing in Salzburg, and had restaurants, stores, and grocery stores close by. The space was also very clean! However, some of the pictures in this listing are not of this unit. The address of the listing is also incorrect. Christine sent us the “address” through messages, but we assumed that was the title of the building, and that the street address provided was of the property itself. That resulted in us trekking up and down a mountain with our bags and getting incredibly lost, because we didn’t have cell service. Ultimately, we found the unit and were able to make contact. It was just misleading to include the address of a tourist attraction as the address of the listing.

We've a great time in the flat at the border of thet old town, which was 7 Minutes walk away. The flat was equipped with everything you need for a nice stay. Check-in was easy and our host was so friendly and polite. Thanks again for having us. You have to know that below the flat and in the street, there are several bars located. Especially at the weekend ther are plenty of people around. But the closed windows really absorbed almost everything. During the week days it was quiet. Really would recommend to stay here.

We loved our stay on Salzburg. The appartment is in a perfect location in the central old city. Christine was an excellent host. She met us on arrival and departure and gave us lots of local info which was very useful during our stay. The place was clean and welcoming, with all the amenities we needed. We would definitely stay there again and recommend this lovely place to other visitors.

We got there quite late and we were happily surprised by how great the apartment was. Walking distance from everywhere, especially the Old Town but also e.g. Mirabel Palace. The host was super nice, had gotten us a tourist map and informed us about the local shops, buslines and restaurants. The apartment itself was nice, roomy little place, tidy and all. Greatly recommended!

I loved staying at this apartment in Salzburg. The location is excellent...within walking distance to all the main sites & tourist areas. The apartment was clean, cozy and very quiet! The host, Christine, was very welcoming when I arrived. I will definitely stay at this apartment again!

Great ! Would definitely recommend, location is amazing

First I need to say how great the host was with our arrival, we had a lot of issues with flights and baggage and were delayed 6 hours. We kept in touch and after a long journey she was there to meet us, no problems. The location was great at the north of the old town, it was also over a bar open to 2am M-Th and 4am Fr-Sa. It was only actually noisy 2 of 5 nights. But still not so great. The apartment kitchen was great and clean, the bed had seen better days and the same for the wardrobe. As a budget stay it was really good. Salzburg was magnificent as always.

Clean, nice and a lot of space. Everything looks new, nice bed, lot of space and the owner gives you a welcome and tips for the city and surroundings. Studio with equipment, nice bed, new bathroom and kitchen. Also a dining area and sitting area, all in one big room.

The apartment was clean, comfortable and very central. We were able to walk to the station which was handy.tje host, Christine was was very helpful and friendly. Overall a perfect spot to stay in Salzburg.

This property was excellent for our short stay. A large clean room divided into sleeping, sitting and small kitchen area. On the edge of the old city, and walking distance to the ice rink (20 mins). We took the local bus (number 10) to and from the airport, the bus stop on the way back was really close to the apartment. The apartment was always warm important for our winter visit, and we were blessed with 36hrs of snow to add to the magic. We just wished we had more time to spend in the beautiful city. On arrival we needed to ring our host to gain access, it would have been useful to know which doorbell to ring, so remember to ask when the host contacts you with final information. A random email the day before travel from the booking site, gave us a different address to that of which our host gave, so our advice is go with the information that the host sends. Our host answered her phone immediately and we were warmly welcomed to the apartment. As we knew we were taking the local transport we had already downloaded a map of where we were staying and the bus route to follow for finding the correct bus stop. We would happily stay here again, should we ever end up in the beautiful city of Salzburg.

This Apartment is very close to the center. We were there for New year. We were able to enjoy the Christmas market, all the tourist attractions and restaurants.. It was close to every thing.

We loved Salsburg in December and this apartment added to our enjoyment. It is close to everything; small and cozy but with plenty of storage and everything we needed. Easy to find restaurants, grocery markets, pedestrian walkways, and, of courst the Christmas markets! Have no doubt it would be just as delightful other seasons of the year as well!

We were two couples and rented both apartments. It was wonderful to have a real person be there to greet us despite our being late. She also came by to say goodbye. She was very helpful with tips about what to see and how to get there. Nothing fancy but everything one needed. Close windows at night, a little noisy at times. Truly enjoyed our stay

Our stay in Salzburg worked really well even though there were 3 of us. The apartment is really ideal for two, but workable for three. It is situated just 2 blocks from all things pedestrian in Old Town Salzburg. Thanks Christine for your hospitality.

This property was perfect for our weekend stay in Salzburg. The location was very central and easily accessible from the train station. The apartment has everything we needed and was nice and clean.

This property is in a very central location in the old town but has foot bridges to the North side of the city nearby. It is a very cosy flat and very well equipped with a comfortable bed and an excellent shower. I would very happily return here on our next visit . Christine’s place was wonderful in terms of location, cleanliness, and special touches. The space was very livable even for a long stay, fully equipped and with lots of storage. Christine is a great host, very friendly, communicative, and helpful. The cookies upon arrival were a special treat! There is also a wine bar next door where we were treated like family. This was a wonderful studio apartment with all the necessities of home. It's close to all the best shops restaurants and museums in Salzburg. Christine was very helpful at check in and ordered our cab for us when we had to....sadly...leave. I would stay here again.

This apartment was well equipped and had a great layout for travelers. Only negative was out of owners control, party goers late at night continued party in the streets. Christine was a wonderful helpful host. Thank you

BEWARE. Do yourself a favor and read this review. I'm traveling for over 40 years and this is the worst place I've ever been to. The host completely disregards basic hygenic standards. Hotel should of been fined thousands. The bathroom floor was covered with pubic hair (my teenage girls found that amusing)and was puzzlingly sticky. The mirrors are dusty with smears on them and there are cobwebs everywhere. There are smears of some kind even on bathroom walls. We arrived with 3 people. Since there were only 2 beds, ( host promised extra bed while we were corresponding regarding check in instructions) so we had to carry a third bed down from the fourth floor ourselves (quite heavy) and put on ourselves our own bedding after a long international trip. Foldable bed collapsed under my child couple of times every night. The kitchen has crumbs and coffee grounds on the counter and has 2 pans, one of which is so scratched up that Goodwill wouldn't accept it. The dining table has grease smeared all over it. We were provided no soap so we had to buy our own asap. If you are planning to cook, it's not going to happen. Kitchen is filthy , small and not equipped. Morning coffee is fine. This apartment is disgustingly dirty, not just dusty. It reminded me of moving into my dorm after it was used by a slob for a year or two. I'd understand if host didn't had enough time between guests to mop the floor, but pubic hair and breadcrumbs all over the floor should of been collected. BEST part of our stay - singing bar customers right under your window. (outdoors, on a street beer garden) Window frame supposed to have 2 windows, but our outer window was broken off, so apartment had very little sound proofing. Customers were singing. Every single day until 6 am. Occasionally fighting. Singing sometimes continued after bar closure at 6 am, because people were sitting on a steps of a church across the street. And singing. Our stay in this apartment was plain torture. Salzburg is a beautiful place and this does not match a basic standard of living.
