Pension Sonne was the perfect base to ski Adelboden and explore the area.

We loved the location and the proximity to the ski lift. The homemade bread and jams at breakfast were an extra nice touch. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, truly going out of their way to make our stay special—helping us with ski passes, sharing great local tips, and making us feel right at home.

Charming pension in a magificent setting

Great location. Very tasty breakfast buffet with fresh local products.

The couple running the place are nice enough, but not very informative. This may be a cultural thing, but it would have been helpful to be shown where to keep the skis or how to walk to the village, instead of having to figure it all out by yourself. The rooms were not serviced and there was no soap.

Charmant, einfach und doch alles was man braucht um ein paar Tage direkt bei der Piste zu verbringen

Wir trafen auf sehr liebenswerte Gastgeber. Die Zimmer sind charmant und doch modern gestaltet. Die Wandmalerei mit dem Holz kombiniert, hat uns sehr gefallen. Das Frühstück war mit dem selbstgemachtem Brot, den Jogurts und den Konfis genial. Die Pension liegt direkt am Fusse der Weltcup Piste und in 20min zu Fuss ist man im Dorf Adelboden.

Herzlich, herzhaft, ruhig.

Die Pension liegt in einem sehr ruhigen Ortsteil von Adelboden. Die Gastgeberin war sehr zuvorkommend und bot eien familiäre Atmosphäre. Das reichhaltige Frühstücksbuffet ist gerade auch durch die selbst gemachten Konfitüren, Joghurt etc. einen besonderer Leckerbitten.

Wir waren ein verlängertes Wochenende in der Pension Sonne. Das Gastgeberpaar war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir konnten ganz spontan einmal ein sehr feines Nachtessen geniessen, obwohl wir Zimmer-Frühstück gebucht haben. Das Frühstück war fantastisch. Selbst gebackenes Brot mit einer riesen Auswahl an selbstgemachten Konfitüren und selbstgemachtem Yoghurt. 👍👍 Wir kommen gerne wieder einmal.

Excellent accueil et très bon petit déjeuné. Les téléphériques d'Adolben sont gratuits avec un badge fourni par la pension Sonnen ce qui est extrêmement appréciable vu les tarifs.

La chambre est petite et pas de produits de toilette (juste un mini sachet pour la douche), mais les serviettes sont fournies.

Ontbijt was goed. Rustige omgeving. De nieuwe badkamer was prima.

Bedden dramatisch. Aan vervanging toe. Kamer erg basic. Geen faciliteiten voor het zetten van thee of koffie.

Locatie vlak bij skilift en skiën tot aan het hotel

Wij hebben een fantastische reis gehad in Pension Sonne! De gastvrouw en -heer zijn ongelooflijk vriendelijk en altijd bereid om te helpen. De gastvrouw, een Nederlandse dame die al 45 jaar in Zwitserland woont, sprak graag Nederlands met ons, wat erg fijn was. Het ontbijt was echt een 10/10. De zelfgemaakte yoghurt, het verse brood en de huisgemaakte confituur waren een absolute troef. In de winter is de grootste troef van dit hotel de ligging: op slechts 50 meter van de zetellift en met een skiverhuur bij de buurman. Je kunt zelfs skiën tot aan het hotel! Ondanks deze toplocatie is het hier heerlijk rustig, want Pension Sonne ligt niet in het drukkere dorp Adelboden, waar de grootste skilift zich bevindt. Tot slot genoten we ook nog van een heerlijke kaasfondue. Een echte aanrader!

Als we dan toch iets negatief moeten zeggen, is het dat de kamer niet echt groot was en er ook geen ‘lounge’ is om ‘s avonds in groep nog wat te babbelen, maar hier hebben wij totaal geen last van gehad als koppel.
