Excellent value for money!

From the start before we even arrived, Tim was incredibly helpful! Sent us ideas for restaurants) takeaways and even went to put the heating on for us in advance! If you compare the Empress Flats to a decent hotel room in Blackpool ...you will realise what fantastic value for money it is! Here you get flexibility to eat in ...make a drink when you feel like it, have a fridge...sit on a sofa etc! Location is good - close to the promenade, tram stops and also to a pub, shops and takeaways. Really well equipped AND free parking which you would struggle to get now at any hotel in town! Secure entrance on a keypad ...quiet !

Properly was clean, has everything you need for a homely stay, 15 min stroll to the centre but also tram stop 2 seconds from building.

The property was great loved the fact the front door can’t be open unless you have a PIN number Tim was very welcoming and gave great advice about where to eat and where you can get bus/ tram for travelling especially if you haven’t been before that’s a great help

100% recommend, a perfect place!

Absolutely perfect. The apartment was exactly as described on photos, very inviting and clean. We were really close to trams and buses. Brilliant communication from the host, so kind and helpful. Overall just a perfect stay and I would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a place in Blackpool and I am returning again next year.

Cheap and cheerful. For how much it was I couldn’t fault it

Good location. Cheap for what it was Both my kids shared the double bed and I was on the sofa bed bit was comfy enough with clean crisp sheets Decent cafe on the corner and corner shop

Could have done with a little bit more info about the parking situation and the electric meter but any niggles were sorted immediately

Great as a base to explore Blackpool

Spacious room for the whole family, had everything we needed as a base for our stay. Clean and tidy. Good location and parking. Host very attentive, and provided support prior to and during our stay

The bunk beds are in desperate need of tightening up - really squeaky every time the children moved. A bit of rust on some of the handles - would look a bit nicer if this was sorted

This is my second stay at these flats ive not been dissapointed with both stays,value for money.

The location is right near the tram stop not far to walk at all.The flat was very clean and had everything you need for a short stay.There"s a local shop right by if you need anything.

Very close to tram stop, great parking, comfy bed, generally clean and well equipped. Lovely host.

Highly recommend

We were met at the property, given our keys & told to call if we needed anything, nothing was too much trouble a lovely warm welcome. The apartment was clean,tidy & everything was there to make our two night stay perfect. All linen provided which was immaculate. Plenty of parking at the property. I received placed of interest to visit from Tim ahead of our arrival. Property is clean,tidy & well maintained. I cannot recommend enough. Thanks Tim for our comfortable & enjoyable stay.

Perfect 👌

I liked the location because it was out the way of all the hustle n bustle, lol. No loud groups passing by . Ground floor, which was perfect for me , tram stop to town was just at the end of the road ,I will be adding to my favourite list . Staff are perfect! And very helpful, room was perfect size for the 3 of us , no more to be said really apart from see you again . ☺️

There was nothing I didn't like , apart from needing a socket at the side of the bed ,but not essential really 😁

Stayed for first time

Liked the location,also it was further away from main promenade as expected, but tram line to take you both directions just on top of road, quiet road, visitor parking at back of property, apartment comfortable, bright and clean, stayed in similar holiday apartments in the area prior to this one ,so knew what to bring. We got welcomed by Tim, who was very friendly and helpful,gave us some tips on where to eat.

The only criticism on this occasion was, that some more attention to detail - cleaning was needed on this occasion,especially the kitchen area.

Superb!

Tim the host was welcoming and very helpful, and he was great, gentle and humourous with our son who has autism and was very excited. He gave us info on travel and food options, and was always a text away if we needed anything

Being extremely picky and it took me a while to think of anything to write, but perhaps you could add a dish towel, or cloth/brush for washing the dishes which would have made it slightly easier 😊 but can't fault anything it was ideal and exactly as the pictures show

Fantastic stay

Very nice and clean, it was exactly what I expected! I thought it was very good value for money as well. Tim was very thorough and told us everything we needed to know.

Only one tiny criticism and that was that there were no glasses to drink from. We had mugs. Me and my partner brought some drinks for the evening and had to nip out to buy a glass big enough for a vodka and coke. However we will definitely be back! Overall it was a lovely place

Decent

Excellent location to a tram stop. Great layout of the apartment. Own side access. Parking right outside the apartment which was free. Clean towels and bedding.

The cleanliness was very poor. Dirty cupboards in the kitchen. The fridge was turned off on arrival and there had been a spillage of milk in the fridge from the previous occupier. The smell took a long time to go. The carpet needed a clean in the living/bedroom area, lumps of hair. The second bedroom was only hoovered where you could see. Under the pull out bed was actual food of cucumber and a grape, plus empty clear food packages. The bathroom floor was also brown when I mopped up spilled water from the sink. Shower tiles had not been cleaned

Tram Accessibility into Blackpool centre, pretty quiet so you could get a good nights sleep! Host was lovely and recommended places for us to go too!

The gentleman himself was helpful and told us were to go for food.The pictures of the room were not the room we got. The shower had hair on the wall and was not clean. The pillow had a stain on it. The carpet was dirty. The bed is so hard you end up with neck ache and back ache.It is not value for money at all so very disappointing and It was so bad that all I could do was cry, as it's the worst place we have ever stayed in. If the room was not bad enough to insulate us more we had to put £1 in the meter to get Electric. There were only 4 tea bags there and 4 coffees and 4 little cartons of milk like you get at McDonald's so very sad. The TV remote didn't work and we couldn't replace batteries as the back was screwed on. I would never stop here again because disappointment is an understatement.

Had a good one night stay in Blackpool.

Host very helpful - gave advice for visiting attractions and dining. Gave us an upgrade to better suit my group - bunk beds for my kids rather than using the sofa bed. Close to tram - visited South Pier for the kids to have some fun.

No hand towel or bath mat in bathroom, no toiletries.
