Great location good nights sleep staff were exceptional would stay here again and would recommend.

Great location for what I needed

There were a few things in the bathroom that needed a little bit of tlc . The toilet roll holder was rusty and around the shower could do with a lick of paint just a few minor issues .

A fantastic little place. Right next to a pub where all the locals were friendly. The room was perfect for what we wanted. Clean, modern and comfortable. Will be staying here again.

We booked this accommodation based on the reviews . Will be cancelling our next trip x2 rooms

the location of the building with regards to the venue and car parking areas.

A loud consist droning all night from something like a extractor fan somewhere outside of our room . This kept myself and wife awake most of the night . Also doors being banged constantly from approx 02.00am by other guests . The pillows were very thin which didn't offer much support .

The staff were very helpful especially leaving luggage until departure by train. They recommended a very good place to eat too as it was room only. The room size was adequate for short stay and quite central.

Xmas stay.

I got a friendly welcome and clear instructions regarding a deposit for damage The room was lovely and warm and was the one I had requested upon booking. I received plenty of top up drink supplies to the room during my 5 nights stay. Very enjoyable and easy access and leaving.

Not conducive to a good nights sleep

Pub next door had good beer, car park convenient

Room very small and hot, bed not very comfortable, pillows hard, rooms look out over the fire station which is highly illuminated at night, the curtains sit off the wall and are badly fitted so allow a lot of light in, I had to borrow blankets to try to block light out. Staff member did try to help but had to cut my visit short due to lack of sleep.

There was no breakfast provided so cannot comment. Getting access to the room was quite easy

Clean, spacious, very comfy bed, great facilities, everything we needed.

There was a constant spinning noise which sounded like it was coming downstairs (like a washing machine sound). The fridge made an ever so slight noise throughout the night. Kept me up some of the night.

Superb comfy room - great value for money

Great room, very clean and has everything you need! Super comfy bed and nice shower. What more could you need for an overnight stay. The free onsite parking and being linked with the pub was a bonus 😊

Good basic accommodation in town centre.

Close to the town centre and train station. Comfortable bed, reasonable cost, clean. However, it's starting to look a bit tired, carpets and desk need replacing, and the skirting board in the bathroom is rotting and needs replacing.. all things that can easily be rectified.

Friendly, helpful staff, great small town

Easy walk from the train station. Fabulous check-in staff at the Idle Valley Tap. Very clean room. Friendly service. We were able to store our bags upon leaving so we could walk the canal route and wander around town. Such a great little town.

Pretty decent accommodation

Great location, room was a decent size as was the bathroom. Liked the price.

It needs a bit of TLC in the rooms as it has clearly been a few years since it was renovated and they had their TV success. The shower tray was hopeless, as it was too shallow so the water kept running out onto the bathroom floor. A few things were a bit dirty like the windowsills and skirting boards but not a deal breaker for me to stay again.

Location was good, easy to find, parking not an issue and lovely, helpful staff in the pub where you register your arrival and collect your key.

The room was dusty, mould in the bathroom, soap and shampoo dispensers, whilst working, had bits missing.

Perfect stay Rioms At The Inn.

The room was very clean , fluffy white towels and crisp clean bed linen. Coffee / tea making facilities plus biscuits. Also a small fridge. A lovely young lady showed us to our rooms and explained everything to us.

Good value for money with easy access to local facilities and A1

The pub currently has no kitchen but there are plenty of nice restaurants with easy walking distance and a supermarket across the road. The pub serves real ale and has an eclectic and friendly clientele

Room is a tad on the small size and it was difficult to access the wardrobe but that wasn't an issue for me as I live out of my suitcase in any case.

Great except not being able to open any windows

Great location, good parking, easy access, comfortable and clean

No opening windows, enclosed glazing so no way to get any air flow in the room. It was really hot the first day but much cooler the second but still too hot to sleep comfortably. A fan was provided but there was no way to get any air flow. Everything else was great but this was a real issue for us.

Nice location. All amenities close by, including pub next door. Comfortable bed. Would stay again.

A comfortable and clean room with an efficient check in and check out system. Breakfast not provided but that was known in advance.
