The house is so cozy , beautiful gardens and the view is spectacular. The lake and volcanos are astonishing ❤️

Extraordinary gardens, lovely lake-and-volcano views, quiet and safe location (not plagued by dogs barking, loud music playing nearby, etc.).

Two bathrooms are opposite end of the house from the 4 bedrooms. Takes getting used-to at night. swimming pool isn’t heated; still we loved it.

The property itself is paradise with beautiful gardens that are well maintained. The staff is really friendly and helpful too. If you stay at Villa Eggegal, make sure you try Manuela's Subanik, a traditional dish you don't want to miss. The staff can buy the ingredients for you and you can reimburse them directly. Manuela is truly a fantastic cook!

Some houses are newer than others. We stayed in Hagan, a very outdated house that could really use a makeover. All furniture is worned out, walls are dark and the rooms smell really humid. The roof was leacking all over the place. There was not a coffee machine, but luckily we could borrow one from another house. From other reviews it seems power cannot be trusted in Santa Cruz, we spent 5 hours without power in a very dark house and with a full fridge and freezer (apparently it can be days without power). We would highly recommend they invest in a generator, it seems it's a known issue.

We loved the views from our balcony, the nature was incredible we saw all types of birds. There own pool and very private area for sure. A 10 min it’s walk from the dock to our house. Very nice

The sheets smelled a little bad. Coffee machine was broken and wifi there is really bad. Little to no wifi in the house definitely relay on your cell service.
