    Staff were friendly and hotel was fine. Location is good for Lamai. Hotel could do with renovating. No issues apart from aesthetics.

    Good value for your money. The staff and especially the cleaners are very friendly. Not even one minute walk to the beach and the main street.

    The one thing that stands out from this experience is how inhospitable and how unwelcoming the guy on reception is. Unbelievable really. Absolutely no enthusiasm or appreciation of anyone staying here. Give your money to someone who wants you there. Other than that, pretty uninspiring environment to be on, construction noise opposite room, one iron available for the whole hotel, 15 min wait when arrived despite arriving at the stated time and ringing the bell multiple times, people's room keys left unattended on the tray on the reception, people's luggage left unattended. I know this is Thailand and the potential for theft is most likely from non-locals. I pointed out some of these issues to the guy and his lack of response was astounding. Using words was simply too much effort lol. That's the reality of this hotel. Go to Magic for a much better experience.
