    We stayed 3 nights in a deluxe sea view.The breakfast was the best we had of our first 3 resorts.The variety was excellent.great air conditioning.Fabulous pool on the beach You are given clean beach towels delivered to your room each day,Would definitely stay again for longer .

    Jasmine Resort is a beautiful boutique hotel on a stunning swimming beach in Lamai. Great position with many eating and drinking options closeby. Hotel has a great bar! Fabulous pool and very comfy beds. Loved our spacious garden view room.

    The staff at Samui Jasmine made our stay. They were kind, helpful and emanated Thai warmth. The included breakfast had a wide range of western and Asian dishes. I loved the omelette and scramble station. The facilities were always clean, but just outdated with strange quirks. We stayed in 2 different rooms: Deluxe Sea View and Deluxe Villa (Jacuzzi). The Sea View room had a peak of the ocean from the balcony. The bathroom door was a heavy slider that wouldn’t close all the way and the water wouldn’t stay warm. It was either scalding hot or too cool. The Villa was surrounded by rooms with people smoking on their balconies and it came thru the vents. Also the shower door didn’t close, leading to water leaking down the floor. The whole bathroom smelled a bit moldy and had water stains on the ceiling around vents. Overall it was clear the staff did what they could on the cleanliness front. Overall the facilities just showed signs of wear and in need of updating. For the price, I might try another resort next time.

    The location was good with a nice view. Breakfast was too simple for the price we paid but they managed to cook for us vegetarian meals. The hotel doesn't give the Lux feeling but maybe that's how hotels are near or at the beach. The aircon was not cold but thankfully they provided a portable fan. I was told to set the aircon temperature to 22 degrees. Not sure why but with the aircon that already has issues, can you imagine how we felt with temp set at 22 degrees? The hotel provides taxi service but it is a little expensive. If you could just walk out of the hotel to the corner, you could flag down a taxi for little lesser. Prices of transportation are fixed by all operators. No one uses meter, maybe because the island is small. They all work like a cartel, prices are controlled. There is also no gym in the hotel. However, there is a one near the corner for a premium. Overall stay was fine with no major issues.
