    We stayed for two nights at this location and got a beachfront bungalow. We were a side view of the beach and not directly looking out onto the beach, but instead stared at the restaurant with the beach door left. The rooms are older, the floorboards were soft and cracked in many spots. The walls were quite dirty when we walked in. The shower was decent. The hotel had a beach bag with two beach towels, and two umbrellas. There was a small TV in the Wi-Fi was mediocre. There are mats for the wooden lounge chairs on the beach, which was a nice touch, however they were old and smelly. The restaurant was quite big, and expensive if you weren’t a guest there, but if you were a guest, they would give you a discount on the food. The breakfast was huge!! one English or American breakfast was more than enough to serve two people. The location was absolutely perfect! You walked to the end of the road and you are right on the Lamai walking street and close to everything. About 5 to 8 minutes down the street if you walk to the right is the Lamai night market too. The beach was lovely. The guests were average ages of about late 30s all the way up into the 70s. We like music, but our neighbour would start playing music at about 8:30 in the morning and we continue throughout the day which would take the piece away from anybody that might be there trying to get some quiet. Everywhere else was very quiet. I was just surprised that the staff never asked them to turn the music off. I would recommend this place, but I would probably do a garden view room instead of spending the money on a beachfront as the beachfront has all the beach chairs in front of it and shaded with trees. They take a visa for deposit at this location instead of cash.

    Pros: - Superb beach: The beach is beautiful, with crystal-clear water. - Spacious and clean room: The room was spacious and clean, and the staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful, and welcoming. - Great location: The hotel is within walking distance of Lamai’s main active areas, restaurants, and shops. Cons: - No internet throughout the entire stay: There was no Wi-Fi for the whole week. The staff explained that the connection was down due to a technical issue, but having no internet for an entire week is quite disappointing. - Non-functional room telephone: The telephone in the room appeared to be a dummy and was not even connected. - Pool-view room was misleading: My room was supposed to have a pool view, but the view was mostly blocked by trees. I could only see small glimpses of the pool through the foliage. - Breakfast below average: The breakfast selection and quality were below what I would expect from a hotel at this price point. Overall: The beach, location, room, and friendly staff are definite positives. However, the lack of internet for the entire stay, the misleading pool-view room, and the below-average breakfast significantly affected the overall experience. At this price point, I expected a considerably better overall experience.

    When me and my boyfriend arrived the lady that showed us the room looked a bit annoyed, especially when the safe in room didn’t work so she had to come back to our room and show us. The furniture could use a renovation. The pool was nice, breakfast was okay also. The best would probably be the location: right at the beach, close to night market and center of Lamai.
