    We chosed this hotel for our arrive on koh samui. The hotel is quite old,big rokm but with unfinished renovation/reparation, kind of raugh work,but we didnt have much problem with it since they clean the room everyday. The air condion work well but make a lot of noise, but didnt borther us that much. The reception is a little bit complicated , she could not speak english, and difficult to communicate in thai. The person who can speak english didnt stay much at reception. I needed to help them to communicate with guess. The hotel got a nice spot in front of the beach , nice swiming pool. If you plan to spend your time between swimming pool and the beach, this is a perfect place with the price we paid. The others hotel with front beach would cost2-3times more expensive. Bar and restaurant just in front of hotel, massage, breakfast restaurant,3mins walk to night life in lamai center,10mins walk to lamai night market. 3mins to 7-11. I think you can also walk to the hin ta hin yai from the beach, we didnt do it but we could see the stone from hotel beach. I would recommend this hotel if you like pool and beach, and can ignore some defects in the room.

    I had a balcony room facing the pool and beach. The room s are a bit dated and could do with some TLC but the cleaner kept my room spotless. The staff very very good and helpful. The location is excellent and the beach facilities were very good. It is 3 star but I thought it was good value for what I paid plus it’s right in the centre of Lamai. I would stay again but if you want luxury you’d have to pay a lot more. I only used it for sleeping. I spent most of the time on the beach enjoying massages and eating traditional Thai Food. I thoroughly enjoyed my break here

    AVOID THIS HOTEL! We booked this hotel for 6 nights. after the 1st night my husband was ready to leave it. the room was dirty with old hard furniture/bed. the shower barely fit one person in it and the floor was bubbling. there was mold everywhere and the dirty shower curtain kept touching us. the towel rack fell off and broke the 2nd day and the "handyman" supposedly fixed it but as soon we touched it it fell again. the bed was extremely uncomfortable and hard. the fridge was dirty. the chairs on the balcony were dirty so we couldn't sit outside to enjoy the view. there was zero soundproofing so you can hear everything and wont be able to sleep. we pushed through 3 nights, on the 4th day we decided to lose the money and go to another hotel (royal beach boutique) because staying at this hotel was literally ruining our vacation. what is the point of a hotel if you can't come back from a long day on the beach and take a nice shower and get into a comfy bed? When we checked out early the receptionist could care less. there's so much potential for this place as it is a huge lot but there's no pride of ownership. The location is good though, everything is close by and right on lamai beach.

    Rooms are basic and a few minor issues. Staff are not the most friendly I have seen in Thailand. Location is great though
