Great location, very gracious owner/host, would definitely recommend.

We knew that we would be staying there when the restaurant was closed, but we really feel like we missed out by not having dinner there. Next time!

A perfect stay. The booking was made at haste and on spec, and surpassed our expectations. Go see!

The location is stunning. Chef Patron Patrice, his wife and all his team were friendly, welcoming, and very obliging in everything. The dinner was superb, a touch of real fine dining, with impeccable service. Breakfast was served by Patrice in a lovely shaded private courtyard, with freshly made bread and pastries, plus fruits and yoghurts. Good coffee too! The decor in the little suite, overlooking the Loire river, was beautiful, comfortable and delightful. The en-suite shower-room was exceptional. We will visit again when possible and highly recommend to all. Cabinet Vert is a real gem! Thank you.

Almost impossible to improve! The only consideration should be that the suites are up steep stairs and so may be difficult to access for those with mobility issues.

Amazing hosts, their restaurant food quality was amazing and I loved eating there during my stay. The place is not too far from the historic city centre: 2km, about 20/30 mins by foot.

Wi-fi could have been a little bit better. Nothing too bad.

Great stop in Orleans

Nice location by the river, very good restaurant, the chef/owner Patrice was excellent along with his team. Really nice breakfast made and serve by the owner. We will definitely go back there.

Fabulous food, location and hosts

Patrice's food was fabulous, the accommodation setting was gorgeous so near to the Loire River and every was very friendly. They made a real effort to make us feel welcome.

Exceptional

This hotel/restaurant is in a great location, on the banks of the Loire, with views to savour. Our suite was modern, clean and very comfortable. Hosts Patrice and Valerie were charming and eager to ensure we enjoyed our stay with our little dog. The evening meal at the restaurant, cooked by Patrice and his team, was excellent. Overall- no problem in recommending this accommodation, either for a stop off for travelling further south, or if you want to stay in Orleans itself.

From the location, the wonderful welcome we were given, the high standard of food in the restaurant, the comfortable clean guest areas to the amazing breakfast in the morning the whole experience was brilliant.

Excellent accommodation and food with very welcoming, friendly helpful hosts.

I stayed in an excellent suite situated over 2 floors with views over the Loire, well furnished with an excellent shower bathroom. The rooms were very good quality with lots of exposed natural wood and features. Patrice and Valerie could not be more welcoming or helpful. A typical example is Patrice insisted I store my motorcycle in his personal garage over night rather than leave it outside. I ate in the restaurant the evening I stayed, the food and service was excellent as was the breakfast on the terrace overlooking the Loire. If you are passing through or staying in Orleans I recommend staying here. I will try to stay there again when ever Im passing through or staying for longer in Orleans

Exceptional!

Absolutely lovely place and owners! They couldn’t have made us more welcome! The hotel is right on a river and the decor is fresh bright and clean. The owner/chef was very keen to show it to us all and gave us a fabulous evening with an exceptional dinner! Beautiful French cuisine- so fresh and tasty. A fantastic last night to our two week break away. Thank you Patrice and Valerie! We will be back again! Xxxx

Very lucky find as we were looking for somewhere to break our journey down to the Dordogne and this was a perfect spot.

Valerie & Patrice were fantastic hosts - nothing was too much trouble. The suite was lovely and view of the Loire amazing. We had dinner in the restaurant as well and was exquisite.

Really stunning location overlooking the Loire. The rooms are decorated and equipped to the highest standards with very comfortable beds and luxurious sheets and towels. Chef and host, Patrice, is simply charming - and a very good chef too! Dinner was fantastic- but be careful as it is also very popular- and a wonderful atmosphere. Breakfast was perfect with local cherries, cheeses, preserves, bread and pastries - everything was just SO GOOD!

Perfect

The quality of friendly care and attention to detail is exceptional. The suite was beautiful, with a super view over the river. Folk with fragile knees should be aware that the climb to the upper floors is steep and winding (but the staircase itself is beautiful !). Welcoming for our Labrador dog, although she didn't much like coming down the polished stairs. The food in the restaurant - breakfast, and we had dinner there too - was really superb. Bravo chef Patrice and hostess Valerie and thank you.

If rate the entire experience as 100% or 10/10 the only slight improvement that could be made is the lighting in the bedroom, which is atmospheric, but dim. Some more lighting or some additional lighting options would be a good idea.

Excellent quality, beautiful location, personal service and dog friendly!!

Cabinet Vert was excellent! Patrice and Valerie were brilliant hosts!! We were looking for a stop over to break up our trip back to Calais! We booked a river view suite and the view is incredible!! We stayed 2 nights, the breakfast was wonderful and make sure you book in for dinner!! Both Patrice and Valerie spoke some English and we tried with some French but they made sure we were looked after! A personal service for sure and dog friendly!!

There is nothing we disliked! We would have liked a sofa that we could both fit on.

For a relaxing week-end in Orleans, Cabinet vert is surely one of the best options. Rooms are newly renovated and very calm. Breakfast is truly amazing: the chef makes the pains aux chocolats himself, coffee is great and honey delicious. Restaurant brilliant too and you can park free of charge in front of la Loire. What else do you need?

Very welcoming, very good food in the restaurant, the suite was very origanal well thought out and luxurious the views of the Loire River are lovely and an easyplace to have the dog. The breakfast lovely French breakfast. The market on Saturday in just a 5 minute walk away. A special little corner in France we will be going back.

The rooms are stylistically different then most hotel rooms. They are a bit creative and it’s creates a nice atmosphere. The couple that run the place are really nice and they serve a nice French breakfast.

Wir sind selten so freundlich und warmherzig aufgenommen worden wie in diesem Hotel. Obwohl der Umbau noch nicht abgeschlossen war, hat man uns gern aufgenommen und ein sehr empfehlenswertes Frühstück serviert. Das Zimmer war sehr angenehm mit einer schönen durchdachten Beleuchtung . Am zweiten Abend haben wir hier gegessen, auch das Diner können wir jedem empfehlen . Wir haben uns zu Hause gefühlt und kommen sehr gern zurück.
