De ligging, mooie kamer met een bovenverdieping

Geen airco of ventilator. Eigenaar was door omstandigheden afwezig, sleutel lag op een afgesproken plek. Restaurant was daardoor ook gesloten.

This is a gem of a property find. Wonderfully located with views over the River Loire. Service was fantastic. Patrice really looked after us. Local produce, beautifully presented for breakfast...bread/pastries/fresh fruit/conserves/cheese. Special mention for the coffee which was strong and delicious. Suite was immaculate. On two levels. Plenty of seating and storage space. We were offered a table in the attached restaurant for dinner but had to decline unfortunately as we were meeting friends which couldn't be accommodated as they were fully booked. It looked wonderful and lots of local produce on the menu. I think, only 3 suites so small and quiet. We'll be back.

Air conditioning would have been nice. There's a Dyson fan but, in the heat, it wasn't quite enough. The stairs in the suite, are steep and of polished wood. As a retired lady, I would have liked a handrail. A mirror within distance of an electric socket would have been enormously helpful. I struggled to dry and style my hair.
