Lovely and relaxing stay at Ridgewood Apartment

I would highly recommend Ridgewood Apartment, it was clean and tidy and in a lovely location. Our host was super friendly and very accommodating. We where greeted with a lovely basket full of fresh eggs, bread ect... The apartment was very clean and felt very homely. There is a nice pub down the road for food and in a good location for walks to Falls of Divach and other woodland walks.

Five Star Luxury with Cosy Comfort

Every detail was considered and there were so many small thoughtful touches. Great communication from the start and the welcome basket showed outstanding hospitality. The decor was tasteful and cozy. It was as though the whole accommodation and amenities were designed by a five-star luxury hotel, but without pretention. Loved the outdoor spaces. The location was fantastic for accessing Loch Ness attractions, Inverness, Culloden, and even Nairn. While the apartment feels private and secluded, restaurants and shops are a 20 minute walk away (just a few minutes in the car).

We only stayed one night. I wish it had been more.

High quality comfortable apartemt

We had a very comfortable and cosy week here. Ridgeway apartment has a high quality finish. There is a large comfortable leather sofa in the spacious living room. The kitchen has an induction hob, efficient oven and microwave. We slept very well because the bedroom has blackout curtains and the bed is very comfortable. On the bed were two beautifully presented white bathrobes and slippers for us. In the en-suite bathroom there is a superb, powerful walk-in shower and Teresa provides expensive soap and shampoo etc which were a real treat. The welcome basket provided us with all those things you need when you first arrive, milk, butter, eggs, cereal, home baked bread and biscuits - perfect! The location is on the edge of the village. Although you drive through a residential area to get there, the apartment is away from the houses up a country lane. No problem parking there. One of the best finds for us was that only a few minutes walk from the apartment is an ancient forest called Balmacaan Woods with lots of history and stunning trees. From here there are lovely views and various trails to explore. Although Drumnadrochit is mostly busy with tourists visiting Loch Ness, there are many beautiful walking areas nearby, such as Glen Affric and Glenshiel. Just over an hour is the Eilean Donan Castle and just a bit further on from there is the Isle of Skye, easily accessed for a day trip. Teresa is a lovely host.

A comfortable place with many extras.

Very clean, excellent shower, In an idyllic spot, with a lovely outdoor seating area. The host couldn’t do enough and provided bathrobes and slippers, and popped round with a hamper, milk, the freshest eggs I have ever tasted and home made bread it was a lovely surprise. Sorry we couldn’t stay longer and make use of the log burner.

The kitchen area is quite small but more than adequate for making breakfast and fine for a short stay.

Lovely stay at Loch Ness area

It is a lovely cottage with a terrace, it has everything you could possible need with a lot of personal touch. Everything is new, sparkling clean and looks wonderful! The hosts are amazing, extremely helpful and they really went above and beyond for us! The welcome basket is such a nice gesture and we enjoyed all the treats from it, served as a delicious breakfast with local home made products! I would recommend this place and would definitely love to come back!

A great place for a totally relaxing holiday.

Everything about the Ridgewood Apartment is top drawer. The owners attention to detail has been superb from the time you see it for the first time, to the facilities inside as the kitchen/living area is very comfortable with all anyone could want for a relaxing time. The bedroom is tastefully fitted out at the en-suite bathroom is spacious and tidy. Would highly recommend a visit to the extent we are booking it again for 2024.

Loved our stay at Ridgewood

The attention to detail in this spotlessly-clean, cozy apartment really made our stay perfect. Great location in a peaceful part of the highlands. Lovely little walks in the (very!) nearby woods are a great addition to the other things to do close by in the village of Drumnadrochit. This two-room apartment (plus bathroom with good shower) is a great little place to relax in. The bed was very comfy and we had everything we needed (and some lovely extra 'welcome bits' from Teresa - thanks!)

Very enjoyable, a lovely location, There was everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

The location for us was lovely, quiet and peaceful in a small village surrounded by pretty countryside. Breakfast was not included as part of the package, but the welcome basket was very good.

Overall it was very good. Spotlessly clean, well appointed and decorated, very tasteful. Everything looked like new. It was a little bit on the small size, particularly the bedroom, and there was no wardrobe. However, it was quite workable. The kitchen area was a bit small also, but again workable for us. The welcome basket was lovely and very much appreciated. I would stay there again if I returned to the area.

Great place to stay

The host was great and welcoming! She brought us a breakfast basket which included eggs from their own hens and tasty biscuits made by them! That's a lovely touch. 😍 The location of the apartment was away from main road in very quiet and peaceful side. All we could hear were birds singing which just added to the great experience. The accommodation exceeded our expectations. Very nicely furnished with a great teste of style. Very clean and spacious. This is better than other places I have been to. Bed was comfortable and we got very good night sleep. Everything what you would possibly need for a stay was there. We could sit in the garden and enjoy the beautiful greenery around. This made our stay perfect. We will definitely be back again!

Very nice, quiet place. Absolutely spotless, lovely apartment. Has everything what we need. Friendly owner. Especially thanks for fresh eggs and milk. Nature is amazing. Scottish Highlands easy to love, hard to forget. We had unforgettable holiday. To be honest we can put on top this accommodation of all accommodations we visited last years.

Loved it!

Teresa really has thought of everything with this apartment. The apartment is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean and the beautiful welcome basket was a lovely touch. Generally I don't sleep very well when we're away but I slept like a log, I even asked where she got her pillows from! I would be more than happy to stay here again, it has everything you could possibly need and Teresa is a lovely host.

Absolutely top of the range hidden gem... perfection

Absolutely everything from pulling up to leaving every aspect was beyond expectations x Paul and Teresa where the most friendly professional kind and considerate hosts from the actual apartment itself to the added extras, the fresh flowers, breakfast hamper, dressing gowns and slippers. Instructions and local information was also provided. The furnishings were all of excellent top quality, spotlessly clean it was the best booking we've ever made in 5 years of travelling to different destinations... can't wait to come back thank you both for everything you made our week even more perfect...

Superb

The apartment is a ground floor self contained annex to the owners home and its ideal for a couple. The combined Lounge, Kitchen and Dining Area is well set out, with a separate Bedroom with a comfy King Size Bed that leads to the en-suite Bathroom with a large walk in Shower. It is very clean and well presented with everything you need for a trip away. Teresa was very welcoming and we had a breakfast basket with their own free range eggs which was a nice and welcome touch.

Possibly the best apartment I've stayed in!

Fantastic location with an lovely view into the garden area and high quality facilities. You can tell that another of time and thought has been put into making this place what it is. There was a high standard of finish all through the apartment, we stayed two nights but would have loved to stay longer and will certainly be back in the future. Teresa was easy to contact and was quick and helpful in her replies if we had any questions. The breakfast basket went down well too!

A lovely short break for 2 people

Absolutely spotless modern accommodation. Loved the attention to detail and little extras. The host was very kind and left fresh eggs milk and juice for breakfast which we really appreciated. Fresh flowers, robes and chocolates were also a lovely surprise. All Covid precautions were in place and we felt very safe. We enjoyed some great walks directly from the property and good food in the local pub. Overall very well recommended.

Geweldig!

Het appartement was super schoon , het leek wel nieuw. We kregen bij aankomst een mand met allemaal lekkere dingen erin, zoals een zelf gebakken brood en koekjes en verse eitjes van de eigen kippen. Alles was er , een heerlijk rustige plek. Heel vriendelijke eigenaren.

We kunnen niks bedenken.
