Unfortunately the property was freezing on arrival. Meaning the first night of our stay was uncomfortable.

Filled the need for a last minute reasonably priced stay in the area. WiFi good. Was very glad to find the hot water bottles for the bedroom and blankets on the sofa in the living room. Comfy enough bed.

The bedrooms were freezing. We informed the owners we would be arriving late evening. They said to us they would put the heating on before arrival. Unfortunately only the radiator in the living room was switched on. Which meant the bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen were FREEZING. We travel with a nightlight thermometer for our son and the bunk room was showing 13 degrees c. Also the bunk room radiator took a very long time to heat up. We couldn't put our son to bed until the room had heated which meant a very late night for him. Luckily I found 3 hot water bottles in a drawer so used these to heat up the stone cold beds. I would like to add that we came fully prepared for very cold weather and are accustomed to it. The property is a bit rough around the edges and cleaning wasn't really up to standard. Hairs in the beds and on pillows as well as in the shower and on the shower screen. Everything felt a bit tired and grubby. Hot water for the sinks was also very hit and miss. Only a short burst of hot before turning cold. We had to boil kettles to do the washing up. Would really befit from having a plug socket close to a mirror for hair drying. Slippers are a must for this property as the laminate floors do not warm up at all.

What a gem cozy but has all the amenities one could need including a great little functional kitchen and super comfy beds We picked this as we had an early drop off at the airport however with a pub up the road it was a great stop over

Great location, great flat - perfect

Everything. It was perfect for daughter and I - the hosts, while not present, gave excellent directions on how to gain access to the property. The property itself was fantastic - clean, well appointed and with all the needs a visiting couple, family or even a solo traveller could need. Onsite parking was perfect.

A nice little apartment only a stone's throw away from Loch Ness.

Super clean, fully equipped with everything you need for your stay with instructions for how to use everything. There was even a guest book with info about the apartment, places to eat, things to do, who the owners of the apartment are, flyers for booking activities etc. which was such a nice touch. Location was also brilliant because it's right next to Loch Ness in a lovely quiet neighbourhood.

The pillows were not comfy at all, they were so hard and uncomfortable i ended up just sleeping on the bed without the pillows. The parking space is also a tight squeeze so if you're bringing a big car, be warned haha.

Perfect

This garden flat is absoloute perfection, the hosts have really thought of everything, our weekend started on Friday in Edinburgh with some questionable accommodation that left us considering sleeping in our hire car and then on Saturday evening we stepped foot inside The Garden Flat and it instantly lifted our spirits, the location the well thought out details the warmth and hospitality, the sweet homely touches, cozy blankets and throws, cute soft toys, DVDs books and cleaning products, even the introduction to the hosts in the welcome pack was a lovely personal touch. We woke up on Sunday morning feeling refreshed and wishing we were staying longer and we were lucky enough to wake up to a beautiful frost which made it feel all the more magical. Can’t thank our wonderful hosts enough.

Charming garden flat, great for families!

It was a really charming location close to Loch Ness! It was a good location for us between Inverness and our other stops. And having the ground flat was ideal with kids and all their foot steps! The bunk room was also a great use of space!

Wish there was a dryer, but also know this is a novelty. Used the washer, but clothes didn't dry before we left 😂🙈

Lovely!

A very reasonably priced flat, perfect for our family of 4, with everything we needed for self catering. Maintained to a high standard, by friendly owners, who respond promptly should you need assistance with anything. The area offers some lovely walks, in beautiful woodlands and other beauty spots, and is not far by car from important sites such as Urquhart Castle. Decent offerings of food nearby, should you want to eat out, or get a takeaway, including an inn at the end of the road. Please note that this was the only bar open nearby when we were there over the weekend, as it is off season, so don’t venture further for a refreshment, should you want one in the quiet months. This is normal for the Highlands in my experience. Overall my family really enjoyed our stay and would recommend the accommodation to anyone wishing to explore Loch Ness.

Great location for us. Up to do the Loch Ness Marathon, so good location near Inverness. Flat suited us & family just fine. Kids happy, grown ups happy! Drumnadrochit nice wee town, good facilities for groceries, eating out, etc. Nice local walks. Would definitely recommend! Hopefully will be back!

The price for what you got was too high. The location is very good and we had to consider high season but still…

The room for our daughter was tiny s as my behind the kitchen. She felt a bit like Harry Potter under the staircase. There was a very noisy air freshener on the kitchen that kept her up half of the night. The apartment was clean though and there was an excellent restaurant down the road in walking distance Master bedroom had a rather small bed

A Real Home From Home

It genuinely was a Home from Home feeling. We travelled quite a long way by car and were all tired on arrival, however on entering the property we felt so much at home. It was clean refreshing and very welcoming. Excellent facilities and within walking distance of many places of interest and local amenities. We will definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone.

Nothing to complain about here other than having to leave! Completely faultless.

Cosy and comfortable. Well equipped kitchen and nice bathroom. Close to pub and a 10 minute walk to shop and takeaways. Great spot by the river. Helpful property owner who helped late at night fix what turned out to be a minor issue with water pressure

Little escape to watch Nessie 😎

The facilities were very good. Well space rooms. All the kitchen appliances available to use. Very comfortable apartment to a family/group of 4 persons. Netflix available ❤️❤️ if you need to relax.

It's that I didn't like, but just a small 1 degree increase in the living room and the master room was enough to be 💯 % comfortable, but that was just my opinion, to my friends they said that for them was perfect. I still enjoy and felt completely comfortable in the apartment.
