Danubio Guest Accommodation

I stayed here for 2 nights with my daughter. The hosts were a wonderful welcoming couple who gave great suggestions for places to visit in the area. The property exceeded our expectations and the beds and the pillows were really comfortable. The living area was quite big and kitchenette was very well equipped. The hosts made everything very homely & had even left milk in the fridge and left out other supplies for our arrival.

This lovely little home is literally 2-3 minutes to the Trump International Golf Links golf shop at Doonbeg by car. Welcoming and accommodating hosts made our stay comfortable and convenient. We had to reschedule our arrival time repeatedly due to travel delays, and Mary Ann was very understanding and responsive to our messages. Both owners helped us get settled on arrival, provided some local history, and shared helpful tips for enjoying the area. Rooms are as described and cozy. Coffee, tea, toast, and cereal with milk, etc. are available to get your day started, and there are many good restaurants in the nearby towns. The facility is on a typically (for Ireland) narrow country road. A car whizzes by every now and then, but it's still incredibly peaceful. The only noise at night was the quiet twitter of birds and an occasional moo from the cows on the other side of the road.

Make sure to bring whatever toiletries you need - I forgot mine and as this is rural Ireland, I would have had to drive to the nearest store if my traveling partner hadn't been willing to share.
