Best B&B ever

This was the best bed and breakfast we have ever stayed in. Maria treated us so well. We arrived Iate in the evening and she greeted us warmly. The breakfasts were very delicious and the conversations with her and other guests at breakfast were a lot of fun. The Jewel Room was spacious and comfortable. It was very kind of her to provide bottled water, sodas and snacks in the kitchen. We had to depart very early before breakfast and she made us a to go bag with delicious coffee cake. The location was great and near eating places on Ludlow Ave. We will be visiting Cincinnati often in the future and we intend to stay here hopefully every time we visit.

Had the hostess been well this experience may have been different.

Unfortunately, the hostess was ill and we didn’t get to experience her delightful breakfast we had read about in the reviews. . We had looked so forward to having the experience it was the main reason we chose a bed and breakfast. The bed was comfortable as well as the sheets. She provided nice towels. We were left snacks and drinks which were greatly appreciated. Loved the hand painted decor on the walls.

Since this was a bed and breakfast and the host was ill I think we should have been given the opportunity to cancel our reservation.Even though she provided a refund of $40.00 for breakfast with parking that didn’t cover the cost we incurred for the two days. The room was hot and it was necessary to open the windows at times to try and cool it. The temperature in the hall was 75 and we were unable to change it. The room was somewhat crowded, I’d suggest getting rid of the zebra decor and also add an over the door mirror.

Staying at the Gaslight B&B was a wonderful experience and I would definitely stay again!

Maria makes the best breakfast!! Not to mention, the conversation never gets dull! The location is in a gorgeous neighborhood and just an easy 10 min walk to many shops and resturaunts, even a movie theater and a music venue! The hospitality at the Gaslight B&B is top notch!

Beautiful home and uniquely decorated. The sitting areas located throughout make it so private, comfy and relaxing. Breakfast were great and Maria was a wonderful hostess!

We didn’t dislike anything. The stairs were a bit steep and challenging and perhaps could be better communicated in the listing.
