Gaslight B&B was a beautiful, grand old house, full of quirky decor and friendly people. Great location and walkable to several good restaurant options. Breakfast was excellent. The only drawback was the mattress was too soft for my stiff, old back!

My husband and I had the best weekend getaway here. Maria was such a lovely host, and her breakfast was fantastic. We loved our room and the style of the home. The decor of the home was so fun. We will definitely go again if we are ever in the area.

No sauna, no pool table as advertised. When we arrived Maria acted surprised. No sign advertising the bed and breakfast. Pillows and bed was horrible. The property was a mess, dead flowers and plants, tools Laying all over the front porch. No firepit as advertised. Looked disheveled and unkept. We left and did not stay.

We loved our stay, hosted by the delightfully kind Maria (who can whip up one heck of a breakfast). Our favorite was the magic of fire flies all around us while relaxing on the front patio on a warm summer’s evening!

We had a very enjoyable stay at the Gaslight B&B. Our room was clean and spacious with an equally clean and spacious private bathroom just outside the bedroom (we were on the 3rd floor in the Jewel Room). The inn was on a quiet street in a charming neighboorhood with fun shops and restaurants. Maria, our host, was great! She cooked us delicious breakfasts each morning and entertained us with hilarious stories. The only thing I would mention is there are no elevators since it's a beautiful old house. If you're older like we are and have large, heavy bags, it's a bit of a schlep getting them up the stairs. Maria and her husband Scott were happy to offer help with the luggage however. All in all, a great stay!

In all of Cincinnati, there is no place I'd rather stay. Gaslight provides a unique experience that you will never get at a multi-national chain, regardless of the room cost. Maria does her best to provide a pleasant setting, great breakfast, and wonderful conversation. We stayed in the "Swiss Family Robinson Room" - which I would highly recommend. Overall, we really had a great experience at the Gaslight B&B.

My husband and I stayed here on our trip to The Ark Encounter in Kentucky and had a fabulous time. Our train got in at 3AM, which was communicated to Maria beforehand, and she was so accommodating to welcome us at that insane hour. The house is really big and quaintly decorated (it’s so cute!) and we had plenty of space and privacy. But be prepared for lots and lots of stairs! We didn’t exactly pack lite, so that’s the one recommendation I’d give. Otherwise, I have absolutely no complaints. Breakfast was always fresh and tasty, our accommodations were nice and comfy, and our host was most gracious. Will definitely be going again.

Maria’s B&B is located in a cozy house in a peaceful neighborhood. The room and bathroom were nicely decorated and large. The place overall felt really clean also. Breakfast was more than we could’ve dreamt of with Maria preparing homemade muffins and frittata for us. Maria is super friendly and accommodating. Overall, stay was good. Note this place has LOTS of stairs. We stayed in the Swiss Family Robinson room which was well-appointed and comfortable. Room had a tall king-size bed that was difficult for my 5’1” wife to get in to. Room also had a skylight directly above the bed that shone light in first thing in the morning. If you’re looking to sleep in a bit, this room is too bright to sleep much past sunrise. Snacks and soft drinks were complimentary and breakfast was nice and filling. Hostess Maria was very friendly and welcoming.

I absolutely cannot wait to stay here again! This was my first time staying at a Bed and Breakfast and now I don't ever want to stay in a hotel again. Everything from booking the stay, checking in, the stay itself, and check out was a breeze. Maria was a wonderful host, AND an outstanding cook! Breakfast was amazing, I could have stayed to eat it all day. The entire place was clean and kept up, and overall it was a super unique and intimate experience. You will regret NOT staying here. Stayed with my husband on the 4th floor. The bed was comfortable and the room was nicely air conditioned. It was great to be able to help ourselves to cold drinks from the shared refrigerator, the breakfast was very good (eggs, pastry, fruit), and we enjoyed chatting with Maria and the other guests. Street parking was convenient and free, and the area was quiet residential with several restaurants s few blocks away. All around a pleasant visit.
