About this house rental
Rockfish has just undergone an extensive refurbishment and now offers stunning accommodation to the highest standard. With a contemporary interior, four boutique style bedrooms, wonderful sea views and superb location just a 1 minute walk from Porthmeor Beach and close to the centre of St Ives, Rockfish provides a luxury home from home experience for up to 8 guests and is the perfect place to relax & enjoy a wonderful holiday in St Ives.
Walk in straight from the beach to a convenient basement level shower room with fully tiled walk in shower & cloakroom.
The ground floor hosts the open plan Scandinavian style living space with log burner. Sliding doors give access to both a front terrace with table & chairs and a split level rear terrace with the latter enjoying uninterrupted views of the sea and The Island. This includes a dining table & an enclosed seating area plus space for a BBQ. The large kitchen includes all modern appliances plus a coffee machine & a dining table that seats 8 guests. The lounge area enjoys a large sofa, separate chair, log burner & 65" SMART TV & Wifi..
On the first floor there is the family bathroom with walk in shower & two double bedrooms both with zip & link double beds, luxury furnishings, SMART TV's and fitted wardrobes plus a smaller room with bunk beds.
The master suite is housed on the second floor. With a dual aspect this room is light & airy with fantastic sea views, a super king bed, luxury fittings and a roll top bath and en suite plus a 50" SMART TV.
Open all year. Suitable for families & large groups. Cot & highchair provided. Short breaks available outside of high season and school holidays (including June & September). No smoking, pets welcome.

The house was in the perfect location for my family, we had prams amd all the beach accessories and it was perfect.
The house is set out for entertaining and lots of family time.

Rockfish was perfect for a family holiday of 6 adults, 1 child & 1 baby. There was plenty of space & we loved that the property was so close to the beach which meant if we forgot something it was not far to go back. We also liked that the house was away from main part of St Ives but still within walking distance to all the shops, restaurants & bars. Jo was a great host & was helpful with suggestions of where to eat & book before our holiday.

We loved our stay in St. Ives at Rockfish. The town is charming and the house had everything that our three adult couples needed. We enjoyed daily walks along the coast and through the town. Thanks for a wonderful trip.

We loved it! We spent a week over new year with the family and the house was perfect. I’ve visited St Ives many times at New Year and it is a great place to enjoy the celebrations, which is why Rockfish is perfect. There are bigger houses with spectacular panoramas but very few that can boast a better location in town.
We walked along the coastal path most days which is stunning. However, when we wanted to venture out for food and drink everything is on your doorstep. The Porthmeor Cafe is less than 100 yards away (which incidentally is amazing) but the centre of town is less than 100 yards in the other direction.
The house itself worked really well for the 5 of us. I think for a group of up to 6 it’s perfect. High end TV’s, Sonos, well equipped kitchen and very clever decking in the back garden for a summer cocktail (I’d imagine as we weren’t brave enough to sit out in December).
Apologies to anyone who wants to book if for New Year 2020 as I’ve already reserved it :)
